My family and I had the unfortunate task of having to part with my Brother. It was our first death in our family and we were overwhelmed with grief. Guarino Funeral parlor treated us like family and made the process easy for all of us.. My brother looked like himself and it was as if he was asleep in bed. The place was clean before and during the services. It was very comfortable and the parking accomadated more than enough cars. Unfortunately my Mom was killed in a car accident 2 months later and we were devestated. We called Peter and he handled every detail for us. He picked up my moms body the next Morning after the accident in Connecticut. Peter explained to us that she was pretty banged up and we may want to consider a closed casket. But once we saw how they made her look we decided on an open casket so we can say our farewells to her and not a bunch of pics. She also looked as she was sleeping peacefully. They did a beautiful job at making her look like herself with no visible damage to her face. At the cemetary we were to shocked to utter a word and the weather was horrible. The rain was pounding us. The limo driver actually stepped forward and began praying from a Bible. It was beautiful. We were amazed that when he finished and as they were lowering her casket the sun broke through the clouds. Everyone began crying. It was like out of a Movie. Her passing was so overwhelming that my Dear dad passed away 2 weeks later at NYU medical center of a heart attack. We were totally blindsided and became numb. We reached out to Peter once again who was also shocked at the news but again was there by our side to see things through. I cannot express how much these people at the Funeral Parlor Guided us through this horrific time in our lives and handled the amout of mourners that came from all over. They opened extra rooms and made as many remembrance cards as we needed. We even stayed over closing hours in the viewings and not one complaint was heard from the staff. My hat goes off to Peter, Management and Staff at the Funeral Parlor for there support in our time of need. Peter May God Bless you always. The Baez Family.

Horrible. Spoke to someone on the phone looking for advice and direction with making arrangements during this tough time. The person seemed cold and annoyed by my questions and uninterested in helping me understand the details of arranging a funeral/burial. The person seemed only interested in payment. I will never recommend anybody I know to a place like this.
