I spilled half a bottle of olive oil on a pair of very nice dress pants and was pretty sure I would have to just toss them in the trash. I actually kept them in my laundry bin for a month because I was so sure they were garbage. On the off chance they could be salvaged I brought them up the block to see if it was even a possibility. To my great surprise two days later when I can to collect them (still thinking for the trash heap) I was created with an amazing smile, and owner said "I worked some magic for you" they were absolutely perfect .. not even a faint impression of the oil, I really dont know how she did it. Its nice to know that some people not only take pride in what they do.. they do it to a high level of excellence. I would not only recommend there services, I would say it is worth the extra effort if you are not in the immediate area to go to them. I dont like talking about money in general, as cost for services should never be weighed by price, but I would say that they are beyond fair and, I would have paid four times what they charged and not raised an eyebrow... I hope the above review helps someone deciding to go for there services, I am an actual human being and I never leave reviews, ever... but, in this rare case I am happy to do so as the owners are exceptional and caring... FYI they have hemmed pants for me, made adjustments to suits, done my laundry... they are full service.

My wife and I visit this place once a week. The highlights are: - They know how to deal with expensive clothing and fabrics. Other places have damaged our clothes, where as this place always seems to know what they are dealing with. - The alteration work is fantastic, its even better once you factor in the price. I have a really heavy winter jacket where the pocket had ripped. Another store tried to fix it and butchered the pocket. LA Cleaners literally made everything look brand new for $15. - They only take cash, but its completely worth the hassle. - There is always a few people in front of me in line when I get there, which is pretty much the sign that everyone in the neighborhood goes to this store.

Pricey, but worth it. Expert tailoring for bridesmaids dresses! Tony is very nice and knows his stuff. Ive taken 3 bridesmaids gowns here in the past year - costs $190 each time because of the detail (multiple layers of fabric, etc.). Ive had poor tailoring in the past and your garments are never the same. The only thing I would like to see them change is the changing area. Maybe a heavier curtain or an actual dressing room with a door.

Tony (the owner) is the best. I dropped off a few shirts to have the sleeves taken in and he had them done a full 5 days before he originally said. The shop also does dry cleaning, which is equally stellar. This place is a great find, especially for folks living west of the BQE.

Lily did a beautiful job taking in a silk blazer that has been sitting in my closet for years--too bulky--now Ill wear it a lot! And she hemmed a long skirt. Excellent work.
