Ive been waiting and tracking 10 packages that is coming from China on the usps website, one package made it to NYC and I track it to the Brooklyn empire post office, once I saw that the package was being prepared to be delivered to me I called the empire office to ask them if they can bring the package to my apartment door or ring the bell so I can come down and get it, the guy told me that he is suppose to that, I told the guy that my package was stolen before and I dont want it to happen again, the argue with me about it, I waited all day in my apartment looking for the post guy on 12/21/2015, he didnt come, on 12/22/2015 I stood home all day once more looking out my window for the postal truck and even stood outside for a hour and nothing, between 7pm and 8pm I was down stairs when I saw that the website tracking told me the package was delivered and given to a stranger, I was confuse because Im down stairs in front of the building sitting on the steps, that when I shouted this guy stole my package and put delivered to a individual, no truck on my block what so ever, this package was worth a lot of money and I ordered all of my kids and wife Christmas online and they are being delivered by the empire Brooklyn postal service, my building also has cameras outside and in the building and you can clearly see no one came to deliver a package between 7pm - 8pm, I need my package back from the courier who stole it, can you please help, Im going to have bad Christmas because a criminal is stealing all of my packages

please, just try to call these people. just try it. they will immediately put you on hold until you hang up. then schedule a package for redelivery. they just wont bring it. at all. when i call the USPS 800 number to ask why, they say oh, someone probably just got lazy and isnt doing their job. oh, ok, thats cool then. go to the post office, ask them where your package is? its not there. BUT OH WAIT call back and find out that actually the package said "stern molly" so they thought molly was my last name and put it under molly instead of stern! thats why they couldnt find it!!! for two weeks!!! that makes so much sense you guys!! but dont be fooled its not over! so I go to the post office to finally pick up that package. I give the lady the slip and tell her its under my first name, she gives the slip to another lady and doesnt tell her. The lady cant find it!! I go and tell the other lady and she gives me attitude. She looks again and still cant find it! She wants to know how I know its under my first name, I tell her I spoke to the manager on the phone the day before, she says WELL YOU DIDNT TELL ME THAT and im like but the manager told me to tell you its under my first name. She says WELL THE MANAGER MIGHT HAVE MOVED IT. WELL THE END BECAUSE THEY STILL CANT FIND IT!!!

The Post Office is getting Packages from customers whom order stuff and is to be delivered by the USPS office and the carriers and delivery personal are Not! Ringing the bells for the packages to be delivered .What the Ass they are coming in to the buildings and just throwing and leaving the packages there. Then when a customer tracks the package or packages it shows that it was delivered when it wasnt .I have had packages stolen when I was home waiting for them to arrive this Sucks. Fix the problem they get paid well to do the Jobs right. There has been times when a tenant has seen packages thrown in front of the mailboxes and they have been seen through the buildings surveillance cameras the way they do such a lousy job. Im sure they wouldnt like it if it happens to them. The inside the post office service is lousy the place is dirty and the workers and Supervisors need training on how to deal with the public. This is so sad because not in all areas is service bad. So theses workers give a bad name to those that do there jobs right. 11/14/16 Sunday 6:40pm

Too bad there isnt a "0" -- Most indescribable madness ever. Im shipping from Kansas to Brooklyn, and package makes it there in 48 hours and cant make it that last 8 blocks to my customer. I call USPS, I get someone at this branch on Empire Blvd, they dont know diddly (or Bo either!). They dont know where the destination is, they dont know who the driver was, they dont know why it didnt get delivered, they dont know where it is now. AMAZING. Maybe David Copperfield came by and made it vanish. Additionally I ask for a refund for shipping that didnt happen and they cant do that - sorry, you paid, we tried, really we did, but we screwed up, and itll come back to you in like a month, but you get no refund. So if I ship again and pay again, will my package make it this time? DOUBT IT. Ill go with another carrier. Ill also prescreen future shipments somehow and if, ESPECIALLY if, I can tell that theyll go through the James E Davis post office on Empire Blvd, Ill use another carrier.

This is BY FAR the worst post office in NYC. They will never deliver packages. You must always pick up your packages from the office and then it may take them up to an hour for them to retrieve your package and pass it off to you. Dont bother paying for two-day or next-day shipping because you will not receive it the next day nor in two days (because they DO NOT DELIVER...ever). They have lost some of my packages. They have stolen some of my packages. Two of the stolen packages were jewelry boxes delivered open with contents missing, the other one was a brand new iPhone. Go Figures. I guess these mail experts/thieves know which boxes are valuable and which arent. To top it off, theyre rude when you come in concerned about missing/undelivered packages. ESPECIALLY the manger/supervisor woman! You would think youre being PUNKED, the way this woman handles situations! Shes dreadfully unprofessional every time I have to deal with her. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive lived all over the country, but Ive never experienced a post office as indifferent, rude and generally ineffective as this one. The employees do not care a lick about their jobs. Delivery people destroy mail, shoving it into too-small mailboxes, shredding it in the process -- even breaking DVDs (which is hard to do. They wont be bothered to ring the door bell to deliver parcels in person. Were always home (both my husband and I are self-employed) during the days, but not once have we had the privilege of our delivery person delivery a package. Instead, they just leave those terrible little pink notices, which require us trudge down to the post office every time we have a package. Its ridiculous. The post office itself is always packed, the workers (with one exception) are unbelievably rude. Its just a mess. I hope someone is paying attention and going to take action.

I would rate them with negative stars but you cant do that on here. The lobby is never stocked with simple forms like return receipt or even express mail airbills. Ive found that I have to wait on line just to ask for these simple things. A heavy set black women with glasses is the worst of them all and she will go out of her way to insult you even though you know what youre talking about. Sometimes Im running late and for whatever reason have to draft up a hand written airbill and I just end up going out of my way to 3rd ave location under the BQE around 40th street. Too bad that I paid good money to live in 11225 but have to deal with horrible postal employees here. The mail delivery people are great and Im on first name basis with about two of them. These reviews here are spot on, and felt that I had to reconfirm.
