I had an appointment at noon for a wax and when I showed up the place was locked. I called the phone number and the woman sounded nonchalant that the "girl" must have forgot to write my appointment down. She asked if I could come back in 3 hours. Then she said she could take me in 1.5 hours. When I came back, I waited another 20 minutes before being taken back. She "confused" the waxes and was not sure what type of wax she put on my body, having to go over the same area multiple times. At one point she stepped out of the room to get something and left the door open with me exposed on the table. I have been to many salons and I always like supporting my local salon, however I can say this was the worst experience I have ever had. At the end, I presented a coupon for 50% off any service (no exclusions). She said that "the coupon was not supposed to say this" and would not give me the discount. It was a valid coupon that stated no exclusions. She told me that I should come back for a massage to use the coupon. Stating that she used too much wax, so she could never take 50% off of the service. I asked for a discount for the appointment mix-up and the inconvenience of returning 1.5 hours later. This was denied. I would never go back or recommend this place to a friend!

Everything Beauty has been a longtime supporter of our local economy through active membership in Buffalo First, a not-for-profit devoted to a local, green and fair economy in Western New York. As a great example of a local, independently owned business with a quality product, Everything Beauty generously provided a coupon offer in our 2011 All-Local Coupon Book. The coupon mistakenly read 50% off all services, but Everything Beauty staff made efforts to inform clients of the error. (The coupon has since expired.) Please give Everything Beauty and other local salons your business, and continue to support your neighbors -- your local business owners -- and your community in the process. Shop local!

I bought the groupon for a mani pedi which was a huge mistake. The owner seemed annoyed that I had the groupon to begin with which was my first turn off. Although the manicurists were nice, they did a horrible job. There was polish all over my skin and then they sprayed some funky stuff on my nails to dry them because they dont have actual nail dryers. Two of the girls chatted away being unprofessional the whole time. At first glance the salon is cute but then you realize its cluttered and dirty. Im pretty sure the nail supplies were not clean or sanitized. I would be surprised if the people who work there actually have licenses. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will never go back.

Ironic theres 3 recent reviews all within a week of when I informed the owner Id be making my experience public. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was informed Id have an hour and a half wait. When I explained we had dinner reservations, it was the owners nonchalant attitude that was even more frustrating. She just stated that, "oh well. things happen". You own the place! Make "things happen" correctly! It was dirty and the staff were standing around in clicks gossiping. The ratings that are 5 stars are clearly the owner awaiting my experience. Dont bother with this salon. Its AWFUL!

Aweful! We made an appointment for massages 2 weeks in advance. When we got there they laughed @ us saying they could only do 2 @ a time even though there were 3 of us. Then they were VERY rude and appeared to have no clue what was going on. They even told us one massuse was better than the other. I got a hot stone massage & it was anything from relaxing. They put u in a room with no door, just curtins. I could hear everything that was going on in the salon. They also played loud, upbeat jazz music. The massage was aweful, very uncomfortable. I will never return.

A week ago I had the pleasure of visiting Everything Beauty for a Keritan treatment. The place is decorated very welcoming with a unique touch. I was greeted by Karen and immediately taken care of by her. She was very informative while giving me the treatment as well. I was very pleased with the outcome and overall had a wonderful experience. Ive recommended Everything Beauty to friends and family.

I used a groupon for a keratin treatment with Melissa about 2 weeks ago. She was so meticulous and thorough with my hair! Clearly worth every penny. And Karen, the owner, is very personable and thoughtful. It is two weeks since the treatment and I LOVE my hair! I completely recommend Keratin treatment here.... Support Buffalo local businesses, especially this eclectic one :)

I visited to use a groupon for a mani-pedi. The staff means well and are very nice but it was the most unprofessional interaction at a salon that I have ever had and the worst quality of work I have ever seen for this kind of money. I paint my own nails better. Not to mention the slowness. Do yourself a favor and go to the Chinese place and save a few dollars.

Kevin and Karen made this one of the best experiences Ive ever had at a salon. The prices are reasonable, especially for being located right on Elmwood. The salon decor is eclectic and welcoming, unlike most places Ive been to.

I cant believe that these people have the nerve to offer manicures and pedis and that groupon offers this. It was the worst Ive ever had. And I told the owner and she said how sorry she was, but obviously didnt care.
