I cant believe people have given this company positive reviews. I used this company to change the locks on my new home in Carle Place. Since I was not living in the home, I scheduled a specific time for them to come and do the work. I was running early for my appointment so I passed by the office to see if they could come earlier and to also see if they had something else I needed. The locksmith was eating his breakfast and appeared in no rush to get to my house. He told me as soon as he was done he would meet me there. He ended up getting to my house an hour and a half late. So much for making an appointment.... He then had to return to the office before he could finish my job and disappeared for about an hour...In the mean time, I grew tired of waiting and left my wife at the house while I went and picked up something from Lowes. Murphys Law, the guy came back and finished the job literally 5 minutes before I made it back. My wife called me up and said the guy is waiting to get paid and is annoyed that I wasnt there. I came back to the house and the locksmith asked me if I was paying with cash or check. I told him I prefer to use my credit card. At this point he got angry and said if he knew I was paying with credit card he wouldnt have waited the 5 minutes for me to return and I could have called the office. Now the gloves came off, and I sarcastically apologized about him having to wait and thanked him for showing up an hour and a half late and then disappearing for an hour... he stormed out of my home. Later I did get a call from the office, ( they wanted to get paid) I complained about their tardiness and their locksmiths attitude, he apologized but was more then happy to take my credit card info and charge me the more then $200 bucks to change 2 locks.... well the story doesnt end there. The locks their genius locksmith changed stopped opening with the keys they gave me after a week. I scheduled another appointment, they ended up cancelling on me last minute saying they were stuck doing another job and we rescheduled.... they then ended up showing up late for the rescheduled appointment. This was my first home purchased, and I made the mistake of thinking that a local locksmith would be more then happy to try and establish a good relationship with a new neighbor. Stay away from this company, they overcharge and have no respect for their clients schedule.

I just closed on my new home and it was time to change all the locks and make copies of all the keys for my Family. I called around and was surprised about how much that was going to cost. I asked a friend who bought his home and needed the same service a couple of years ago. He said I should Google Install A Lock. I am Very Happy I did. His quote was the lowest I heard so Far, and he got the job done same day. The locksmith was friendly and Professional. The work was flawless and every key worked. I would highly recommend them!

I have used this locksmith for my building on 251 Post Ave in Westbury for nearly ten years. Aside from changing out locks for my tenants they have replaced security doors and installed "soft close" doors for my bathrooms. Every time I call them they are on time and reasonably priced - and the work is done correctly - keys work and fit perfectly. Gerry, the owner, is honest and fair - and very professional. I highly recommend this locksmith!
