I was out shopping early on a Saturday morning. I came out of Adams, and found I had a dead battery. I called Wits and explained my situation. So many things were going on behind the scenes that day for me, and their quick assistance relieved the stress of the situation. I had a car FULL of groceries with 14 people coming for dinner that day. They got me taken care of, and home before anything even had time to defrost! Their customer service was awesome! I had my car inspected at Healey during a previous service, and they never put the sticker in my window. Mike noticed it right off, and made sure that when I left there, I was inspected, and had a valid sticker. I will certainly see you again for my car needs in the future. Its nice to know there is an honest, caring person out there in a field where there are many who are not. Kim

My family and I have been going to Wits Auto for over 20 years. Mike, the owner, is one of most honest and hard-working individuals I have ever known. He has very long-term employees and I can see how he has a remarkable ability to shape and impact them and his business to operate at their best. He will never do any additional work on your car without asking. He will relay any observations without forcing you into a corner. One of his best qualities is his tone of voice in which he communicates with his employees and his customers. Genuine and authentic regard for people and their feelings is something that the auto industry lacks--in sales and in repair--but Mike can instill a sense of calm and assurance with anybody, and thats why Ill keep coming back.

stay away from this business, had a broken serpentine belt (25-35 dollars) also needed a pulley (65-70 dollars) one bolt ta take the pulley off easy repair, half hour, maybe an hour (50-75 dollars) about 150-200 dollar job, they called me and told me it was going to cost 327 dollars, i asked why it was so expensive, they checked my oil, my tires, my brakes, im thinking it cost them 150 dollars to look at these things, they were looking for more things to repair , you have been warned, more than once, stay away

DO NOT GO TO WHITS AUTO REPAIR! THEY WILL OVERCHARGE AND UNDER-PERFORM! Dont even go there for an inspection, theyll take off your inspection sticker first and then tell you your car needs big repairs before passing inspection If you try refuse to the repairs, theyll say they cant let you drive away without an inspection sticker on your car. Thats a classic rip off move made every day by this completely dishonest owner/operator. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Hey folks, I just want to say what a great experience I had with Wits: My car died and I got AAA towed to Wits totally unknown to me as Im hundreds of miles from home. They were welcoming, waited for me to get the rental car to pick me up and had my car fixed the very next day for me to continue on a long trip. SAME PRICE as my local mechanic would have charged. These guys are the real deal. Choose Wits!

I dont live in the area and my car broke down dramatically, making it undriveable. Instead of towing home to get an estimate and repair, they had the problem diagnosed and fixed within hours for slightly more than what the towing fee would have been. Everyone involved was extremely friendly. Mike showed and explained every step and option available. Beyond grateful I broke down where I did!

Usual dishonest mechanic story: came in and was told there was a broken stabilizer, was told it needed to be fixed for tons of money, stupidly believed it and had it done, oil change at somewhere else a few weeks later revealed a broken stabilizer. Hmmmm. The hours arent convenient, so why even bother? Dont get ripped off -- go somewhere else.

Waited for hours for them to haul my car out of a ditch after hitting a patch of ice. They were dispatched through AAA but apparently I was out of their range. Yeah. I was 5 miles away from their shop when it happened. AAA should definitely drop these guys. Avoid them like the plague.

It took me several tries to find a repair shop after moving up to Fishkill. I found a reliable one at Wits Auto. They have a hard working team and most importantly you can be assured that you will be treated honestly and fairly. Peter

My experience at Wits has been very good. The staff has been very friendly and Mike, himself provides personal attention over everything. I had both work done and bought a used car. Good experiences both ties.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They worked with me every step of the way and I guarantee they will do the same for you. I recommend Wits Auto over any other local auto shop.
