Auto repairs can be a very iffy event, particularly if an owner is not extremely up to date on cars and repairs. Ive had all four of my cars (2 Sonatas, Olds Aurora and Ford Mustang) serviced repeatedly at this shop and have never been treated bad nor have I experienced any of the events noted by reviews on 10/13/10 or 10/26/09. Car repairs are often unexpected and perhaps costly; Ive been to the Big Shops and the nearby Hyundai dealer where I have been treated with disdain and poor attitudes (often aloof and condescending). Ive not experienced such at Dennis Francis in the past, nor do I expect to do so in the future. I am writing this prior to one of my Sonatas being serviced on Friday, 11/5/10, with perhaps expensive maintenance (tranny flush, radiator flush, brake check) and possibly other items they recommend. Of course maintenance is expensive but so are new cars. I expect only the best service now and in the future. Unjustified repairs? They have ALWAYS spoke with me BEFORE any extra repairs. Scotia Police? You gotta be kidding. MgP

I have had my cars repaired and serviced here for years and have never had any issues. I have seem some people that did bring back a car for more work but this was usually a different problem. Most people dont realize the cost of car repair and the time it can take to identify a problem. I always ask that I be told of a unexcepted cost before I OK it. This way I am not surprised at the final cost. Telling anyone to " fix it" and then complaning about the cost is the person that should always ask first. I have known people that needed their computer fix and later found the cost of a new one would have been less. Any auto repair shop is pretty good about fixing the car but they are not good mind readers.

I have been using Dennis shop for 14 years. I live 30 miles away in East greenbush. Its far away but very worth it.I have tried other repair facilities, however they cannot get my classic cars to run correctly. Dennis never has a problem dialing in ,tuning my Chevelles. He spends a lot of time with you to show you whats wrong with your car. His staff is friendly and professional. His rates are very reasonable and he is very honest. You can tell he likes what he is doing, and likes cars. He is truly an old school car guy,and these guys are getting difficult to find. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending him to anyone I know. His dog is very nice too.

Dennis Francis is someone I not only trust with my car, but other family members cars as well. I will not go anywhere else after having him do work on my vehicle. He is down to earth, hardworking and trustworthy. This guy is going to repair your vehicle right the first time and do it in a reasonable and fair price.

This shop is not trustworthy, they took our money for unjustified repairs a few times before we realized what was happening. They are unappologetic for their mistakes and the customer service is by far the most offensive Ive encountered in a long time. Do not use their service!

Had a couple of repairs done in the last year. No recurring issues after the repair and reasonable price for the work. Staff has been personable and helpful. Have always gotten my repairs in within a day and completed the work quickly.
