Im very disappointed in Frank, the owner. He doesnt stand up to his morals and he is not trustworthy at all!! I asked for a quote for replacing front sway bar links. I was given an quote of $240 and told that I have to get alignment after replacing sway bar links by Luigui. Alignment is not necessary after replacing sway bar links. Without alignment the quote given was $160. They are not honest since they suggested more than necessary repairs. I would not recommend going to this shop. Update: I did say that my car was pulling to the side as a separate problem. I did not request the alignment with the sway bar link service. I also came to this shop for a small leak from rear left tire. I was told by Frank that the rim is slightly dented and he "fixed" it by applying bead sealer. One week later, i found that the tire pressure was low again. I called and went back to get the repair reinspected. I was told by Luigui that the tire valve was bad and needs to be replaced. I got it replaced as advised. Ok so i came in twice for the leak to be fixed. I called and explained the scenario to Frank. I asked if i would be refunded for the first charge. He said no since it was a different problem. He seemed uninterested and told me they dont do refund. The tire was still leaking after i came in the first time. How do you justify charging me twice for a repair that was not properly diagnosed and fixed the first time? Update: I went to the shop and i was refunded $5.43 of $46.75 by Frank with excuses on receipt. Frank was rude and abnoxiuos. He has ruined the image of good mechanics. He kept denying everything i explained to him that happened. Frank made so many excuses such as: - tires are old - they are dry rotted - there might be a nail in it - its been two months between the two services so your argument is invalid - rims are corroded - rims are dirty Why didnt you come up with these excuses and mind games when i brought it in the first time? I know because, you ripped me off and you cant accept it. Dude, the same tire is on the right side, and it has no leaks. I came in there for the leak, dont find reasons to charge me again and again. I asked him if the same thing would happen again if i brought my car with a leak and he said absolutely!!! With this attitude of Frank, he will lose customers and their trust. You think charging me twice for the same service you didnt do properly is completely fine, and its not. I felt ripped off. Never again.

Wow what can i say. what a great experience. Frank and his team at high grade auto repair are great, kind, and down to earth people. My car was misfiring and i took it here to get it repaired, not only did they tell me what the problem was they also explained it to me in great detail and in a manner i can understand. Frank is a real nice guy he runs the shop and kept me company as i waited while his guys fixed my car. They fixed my car in a real reasonable time and the price i paid was reasonable. I recommend frank and his team at high grade auto repair. Left feeling like they work more for the people and not for the money.

Brought my moms Honda CRV in for maintenance. Luigui is such a doll so sweet, honest, and helpful. We originally went in for brakes but my mom had told him that her car was making a lot of noise. Luigui checked it out and noticed she needed motor mounts and control arms. He quickly ordered the parts and had her car ready the next day and my mom was so happy that the noise was gone and that she can drive feeling safe again. the other tech Arnold helped with her car he seemed very detailed as well and the owner Frank is always kind and accommodating. Great staff and great service. Thank you High Grade we will be back! :)

Thanks to 5 star online reviews, I found Frank and his crew (and his adorable kids). Very professional, very friendly, very fair prices, drop off and pick up too. Frank gave me estimates in a few minutes and being fairly priced, I went for it on the spot. They found oak nuts stored away in the air filter compartment! They cleaned that up and we did a big tune up and other minor items. All in all I am so relieved and happy to find a trusted mechanic shop for my Toyota (having moved and leaving my old trusted mechanic - Ray in High Falls NY). Thanks Frank and Luigi!! See you in 6 months for the breaks : )

One of the most knowledgeable, friendly, and HONEST repair shops I have ever encountered. After explaining my car trouble over the phone, Frank personally came to our house and picked up my car and had it ready to drive again within the hour, at a very reasonable price! He diagnosed the problem and was able to explain everything in laymans terms. He even gave my car a 30 point check over free of charge and did not try and push any unnecessary work, something plenty of mechanics try. I highly recommend High Grade Auto Repair and plan on bringing my car back to them for whatever it might need in the future.

I have adopted this shop because they have earned my respect and business by proving that they are credible, professional, honest and perform quality work at a competitive price. Luigi is personable, respectful, and does not pull tricks out of the hat like other shops do; he even tells me what necessary and what can wait. I encourage and urge you to maintain your business model as is; if you do that, you will never lack customers, and will be there for at least another 100 years. I would recommend you to anyone who is looking for the real thing and tired of going to the Boucher shops. Keep it up!
