I sent in my Moncler jacket back in 09 for a dry cleaning. They charged me $25 for cleaning which is fair because it is an expensive jacket. After a week, they told me they had to detach a leather patch from the jacket because they were afraid that the color of the leather patch would spread onto the jacket during the process of cleaning. I told them to go ahead and do it. On the date of pickup, they told me that they lost my leather patch and they would replace it by some other generic leather piece. I declined and asked them to find a same piece that they lost from the manufacturer. It took them almost a year to look for one and they couldnt. When I asked for a monetary reimbursement on the jacket last month, the owner said he would only give me $500 worth of store credit rather than a jacket cost me $1100. After such a terrible service, I wouldnt bring my clothes to them for cleaning. Now I am going to file a lawsuit against them. Anyway, do NOT go to this laundry if you dont want to ruin your clothes!

Do not use their service. Every single time I sent my clothes for dry clean, either for delivery or pick up, there was ALWAYS at least 2-3 days delay than what they originally promised. And they would use all sorts of excuses to defend themselves such as there was a spot, need extra time blah blah blah. One carefully worn light jacket can take them 7 days, yet they told me it would take only 3 days when I dropped my clothes, cant they make fair estimate when getting the order? ! Why bother if they cant do honest business. I honestly dont know why theis place is still in business, maybe there are too few choice in Glen Cove area.

Avoid, Black Tie Cleaner, at all costs unless you dont care about your clothes. I brought in seven shirts to be cleaned and one of them was ruined for good. Brought it in the following day, the owner wasnt present and he was to call me the same day. Never called and when I showed up the following day, I was told that "It is not their problem". There are at least 4 bad reviews about this place, Black Tie Cleaner, on google, and unfortunately they are all correct about how bad this place is. I know now to trust google reviews

will never ever return to this cleaner.. I had brought a $400 dress in to be cleaned and they completly ruined it.. there is a semi belt attatched to the dress which was one solid color but now looks like chipped paint and is multi colored.. never again will i bring anything to be cleaned at this place.. they absolutely ruined my dress

Been using this place for over 10 years, a few hiccups and somewhat expensive but they get the job done
