From start to finish the professionalism is top notch across the board. On a Friday in July, after having my AC unit blowing warm air on the hottest day of summer ( of course ), I called Design Air. After speaking with James and Johnathan they scheduled to have someone at my house within 1hr. I was so surprised by the speed in which they arrived that I actually stepped out of the house and missed them. I called back and wouldnt you know it they had their lead technician, Chris Hoops back to my house, again within an hour. It may sound like a small thing but when Chris arrived he saw that I had carpet and quickly put on his own booties over his boots before entering. I found that to be so thoughtful and it removed the pressure from me asking him to remove his shoes. Chris then took a step by step approach in assessing my situation. I was thoroughly impressed with the speed in which he did so and the manner in which he conducted his work. Five stars all the way. Design Air is now my go-to HVAC provider and I can recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you Design Air.

What I look for in a service company is reliability, quality of service, and trustworthiness. Design Air, Inc. certainly represents all three of these traits, from their CEO, and on down to the service people who work for them. One of the service technician, Lou Christophides, certainly possesses these qualities, and represents his company well On a recent service visit to my house, Lou patiently explained the nature of my problem, and proceeded to show me what had to be done to correct it. Lou, needless to say, is someone that is very service oriented. He is somewhat a perfectness, which is a good to see, because he wants to make sure the job has been done correctly the first time, and that the problem doesnt reoccur or require him to come back sooner than expected. Design Air should be very proud that Lou is a hard worker who takes pride in his work and in doing it right. As stated previously, Lou is super service oriented and is the kind of service person that you wish you could get all the time!

Our gas fireplace had not worked properly for a long time and we were never able to get the proper repair people. They all kept telling me that parts were very hard to get. I found Design Air on line and called them. The person answering the phone, Frank, was so nice and helpful. He set up an appointment and told me the price I was shocked but thought I need it fixed. Lou came to the house, what a nice person, so respectful, he spent almost 2 hours fixing our fireplace, every time he checked something he had to add another part, he had all the parts he needed for the repair right on the truck! All other people told me parts were hard to get. He had to replace 4 or 5 main components. He was a pleasure to have in our home and very well worth the expense. He cleaned up after all was finished. I would recommend them to anyone that has a gas fireplace for service. I give them a rating from one to ten a fifteen!

My very first experience with Design Air Inc. and definitely wont be the last if Mick the Service Tech is any indication. First and foremost, timely! They show up exactly when they say they will. Second, professional. I had a houseful of activity but Mick came in and was the consummate professional from the onset. Third, communicative. Mick took the time to explain everything he was going to do, step by step, from diagnosing the problem to fixing each problem he encountered. Fourth, thorough technical expertise. Even though my unit wasnt installed by Design Air, Mick demonstrated technical expertise and thoroughly fixed every single issue with the ductless unit. Lastly, a good sport! I have to say Mick was a great sport since he got surprised and attacked by a mouse that had been living in the unit. He really handled every twist and turn with good humor and attention to service. Outstanding service call!

For 16 years now I have used Design Air and would not use any other company for my heating and air conditioning needs. I suppose others use the same equipment as Design Air, but it is the people; service, sales and office staff, that have me a loyal customer. Mick Ketchell is a highly skilled professional with a deep concern and consideration for his customers. He greets you with a big smile and then gets right to work with care and precision. He explains what and why he is doing something and makes suggestions to keep the equipment running smoothly. He takes his time and makes sure I know exactly how the equipment and the electronic, high tech, thermostat is working. He never leaves until all my questions are answered. Then he gives a big smile, tells me to enjoy my day and that he hopes to see me in a few months. He leaves and I feel as if a highly skilled and professional friend just left my home.

We recently purchase a Harmon Accentra Pellet Stove from Fireplaces by Design. Eric came over and assessed our family needs and suggested this was the pellet stove for us. Approximately 2 weeks later, the stove was installed by their technicians. They were on time. They were neat and professional. They explained how the unit worked and gave detailed cleaning instructions. Our stove has been installed in a 24 x 24 brick family room (originally a sun room). We use to have to crank the heat to 85 degrees to maintain a 72 degree temperature (waste of oil). Now we run the pellet stove at 72 degrees and the room is perfect. We use less then one 40 lb bag of pellets per day. This should reduce our heating bill substantially. Thank you Eric and Fireplaces by Design.

When my Air conditioner did not turn on I need someone who could service an Amana Unit. When Romeo arrived he was very professional how he assessed the system... Then rather than make a quick decision he called Bill Ketchell for a second opinion.... Bills knowledge about various systems was apparent when he understood how the wiring and components of the system must work and was able to quickly confirm the problem with my system... And correct the problem... Bil Ketchell and Romeo are two excellent technicians who work for Design Air.... I would like to thank them for their professionalism and would certainly recommend Design Air for anyone who needs heating or Air-conditioning service.....

Design Air is a reputable, reliable company that lived up to its reputation. My first contact was with Ryan, who was a true professional, took the time to give me all the information I needed. After speaking with him , I knew this was the company I wanted to do business with. After he came out to my residence, he listened to me and assured me it all would be done the way I want. He was never wrong. When it came to installation, Carlos,and Jeff were polite , knowable, and efficient. I , needless to say, am extremely satisfied on the great job they did on my Lennox mini split system. Thank you all for the pride you have in your work. Tommy Noguera
