I needed an inspection in a pinch and took it there because its near work. I sat there for half an hour and listened to the guy talk on the phone and interact with customers about problems with their vehicles. His diagnoses sounded reasonable and correct to me. Customers were referred to on a first name basis- sounded like repeat customers. I dont intend to discount the negative experiences of others at VAS but it seems unfair to me to judge these guys based on the solely negative reviews Ive seen. I went in there prepared for the worst after reading these negative reviews (really in a pinch for inspection) and was pleasantly surprised. Id go back for an inspection without hesitation. I try to do repairs myself as much as possible- if I cant do it I would probably go to a manufacturer dealer. I wouldnt be too scared to have these guys do some repair work though as I saw nothing shady with my own eyes (in the short time I was there of course).

I went in to get a flat tire fixed which turned out to be a broken tire alignment and four tires with the tread worn off. William was incredibly helpful, making a point to show me where the tread had worn and giving me multiple options depending on pricing for what I could do to fix it. While he emphasized that the safest measure would be to replace all four, he told me that I could do only two if that cost was more reasonable. Since the wait was then longer than I expected, Williams wife gave me a ride back to campus and informed me of the bus schedule that would get me back to the shop when the car was ready. They were both very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely concerned with giving the best service possible!

Ive been using Varna Auto for 10 years now and couldnt be more pleased. As another reviewer said, William (and his technicians) are everything you want in a mechanic. I drive an old Subaru and and have been in with it a least once a year. With maybe one exception (where parts had to be ordered), the service was same day and hes never been too busy to look at the car the day I first call him. The price is always reasonable and always discussed in advance of the repair. On several occasions hes listed some potential repairs he may have to do and which I OK. Then when I pick up the car, it turns out that the repairs were simpler and cheaper than expected.

I went to Varna auto for my check engine light being on. They changed the oxygen sensor and charged me for it, but as soon as I started the car, I realized that it was still on. After discussing the issue with them, they told me to go the dealer for a thorough investigation, since the problem may be the connections or my car computer.... The problem was with the wire connecting the sensor to the computer. It apparently was because the wires were not kept secure after changing the sensor or something may have fallen over it. Bad and sloppy job. waste of time and money. I do not suggest this place.

During safety inspection Varna auto discovered a fuel leak at my gas tank. I got a call, was given a very reasonable price, and they were willing to meet my needs to have the car fixed the same day. I have used this service station for many years and trust them implicitly to have my best interests in mind. They have never suggested unnecessary work, and their prices have always been fair. And, compared to dealer shops Ive used occasionally, Ive never had to bring a car back to Varna Auto to have a repair repaired.

Turnover is fast; our car is most often be done the same day. They always let you know what you are in for, and are willing to find various alternatives that best suit your needs/budget. We first went to Varna Auto after a different shop told us we needed expensive repairs. William said we did not need those expensive repairs and fixed our van for much less. Weve been going to Varna Auto for over ten years now and the service has always been friendly, fast and fair priced. And theyre right at a TCAT bus-stop for great convenience.

Great family business. Always treated fairly here which is rare in todays day and age. This is my mechanic for as long as they are around. Did the brakes on my toyota camry for a reasonable price and even took a look at them when there was a squeeking a week later free of charge and made an adjustment to remove the sound.

Excellent. My wife and I have been bringing our cars here for five years. We are very pleased with the service, and with Williams recommendations. He likes to do things right. However, if you just want to keep your car alive, he is willing to look for an inexpensive alternative.

Good service, but way overcharged for the part. I was told by my neighbor that this was a trusted small business that would not overcharge me as I do not know much about cars. Then I was charged $400 + labor for a part that I later found out is worth $100.

I got my brakes exchanged and did not get it down properly at other repair shop. It ended up with a weird sound at the front left wheel and Varna found it quickly for me and only charged small money. High recommended!
