1. Poor Experience. 2. Repainted the quarter panel 4 times till it had a descent job 3. Repainted the front bumper 2 times till it had a descent job 4. Front Bumper has Peeling paint a year later and they will not fix it. 5. I was told to "F&$% OFF!" and had the owner call the cops when I requested to have this fixed. July 2010 is when I was told to go to Wayside auto by Geico to take care of an accident that happened in my garage. The rear passenger side quarter panel was hit on my Lexus IS 250. At the same time, there was damage to the front bumper on the driver side that I had asked them to fix. The rear quarter panel had to be repainted by them four times and the Front bumper had to be repainted twice. Both parts had to repainted due to paint that was dripping as it dried, visible lines in the paint, and a poor job overall. Finally, the job was done satisfactory but not before an even larger portion of the car had to be painted due to "blending" even more of the car with each paint job. On top of that, there was silver paint sprayed on the under part of the car - Where the bumper was repainted - which shows that they have sloppy work. It has now been a year and quarter panel is fine but the front bumper is beginning to peal. Wayside Autobody says they guarantee their work but I was very rudely turned away. I initially spoke to Jimmy who then directed me to the owner - Chris) in regards to the peeling paint I needed attended to under the guarantee. The owner told me that he did NOT want to do the work and he would NEVER allow me to get work done there ever again. I had told him that there was suppose to be a guarantee on his work and that it is clearly evident that the work is peeling but he told me to "F#$% OFF!" I went up to the office and I was told that I was now trespassing and he proceeded to pick up the phone and call the cops on me. I left before the cops arrived, but this service is not acceptable. There is a guarantee on work and instead of honoring their work and guarantee, they threaten to call the cops and have you arrested. This has been a horrible experience from start to finish.

Last summer Wayside did some major repairs to my car, which had been sideswiped while parked. Earlier this week I went to get into my car one morning and someone had wrecked the left (drivers side) mirror. Of course there was no note under the wipers with an apology, admission of guilt or offer to pay for the damage; get real - this is Queens, NY. The only thing I could be grateful for is that they only clipped the mirror and housing and did not damage the door or side of the car. I took the car over to Wayside the next morning and Jimmy took a look at it. I asked him to take it easy on me as this was coming out of my pocket and not going through insurance - there would be no point to reporting it because of my $500 deductible on collision. Jimmy took a look at the car, wrote down the paint codes and asked for a small deposit to order and paint the mirror. Within two days he called me back and said my new mirror was ready to be put on and that it could be done while I waited. I went back to the shop the next morning and they installed it within 30 minutes while I waited inside the office. The new (motorized) mirror works fine, looks good and I was out the door for $150.00 + tax. Not bad, all things considered. I like the folks at Wayside and am happy to recommend them. Like I said to one of the fellows there - you guys are like Doctors - I like you but I hope I dont see you again anytime soon. Im sure they get that all the time.

WISH I CAN GIVE IT LESS THAN 1 STAR!CROOKS from owner on down... went to get my window fixed because geico recommended... I was told by adjuster the amount wouldnt be more than my $500 deductible so claim will be denied and I would deal directly with the shop.. never received the phone call from the shop telling me how much and do I want to proceed with the work but its a window I fixed windows before and its never been more than $100... When I get there they say $545 for a window.. so Im responsible for $500 deductible cause of the paper I signed when I was told that the claim will be denied... When asked about the phone call they tell me they never got around to it... needless to say the cops were called and they said I should get estimates from different body shops and take them to court... how can Geico approve $545 for a window? When youre paying... so my policy has been cancelled and Im paying more with another Insurance Company guess I found out why Geicos rates are the cheapest they dont care about their customers... If you dont mind people legally stealing your hard-earned money and you want a shop that does under the table business with your insurance company WAYSIDE AUTO BODY on Queens Boulevard is the place for you...( this was my experience.. and its all just ALLEGEDLY )

I am totally disappointed in regards to the service and even more so the treatment, or should I say the mistreatment we received from this shop and the owner. I cant believe a reputable company such as Gieco would risk there reputation by referring clients to such an establishment. This shop was supposed to repair my rear bumper after an accident. Long story short... I had some concerns about the job that was done, along with paper work that needed to be filled out for my insurance company , which the shop owner refused to address or assist me with. Not only were they rude and nasty, they were dismisive and accused my husband of trying to scam them in some way. As if being hit from behind wasnt bad enough, I feel violated all over again. Save yourself the trouble and the headache, patronize an establishment that will respect you as well as your business. Stay Away L.Rapley

If you want nice people ; everyone was very nice. If you want your car fixed on time the first time; I cant promise you that. I dont need nice people, I need people who know how to get a job done properly. I have a problem with people getting paid and not providing a fair product the first time. The second time dont help and a third time ...well it doesnt really matter after the first two. I went here only because GEICO was here. Dont fall into this pitfall. Take your car to a reputable location. Returning to a place three times is no convenience. All I can tell you is that I do not feel that I was made whole. Oh, and did I mention that it doesnt help that they didnt have the courtesy to wash the dam car before they brought it out for me. 4000.00 and you cant wash the dam dust off the car? Does anyone have any pride in their work? Dam.
