I have purchased products at Eiluj before as I live in Katonah and want to shop locally. Ive shopped there before and was very satisfied with the service and attention so I went in on Aug. 9/16 to get some make-up for my daughters wedding. When I went in I said: "I want you to sell me some make-up as my daughters getting married in a few weeks". I had to wait a few minutes for the make-up artist as she was busy with someone else. And that was fine as I was a walk-in. The make-up artist was very nice and did a good job. At the end I said which products Id purchase which totaled $199.00. But when they gave me the bill there was a $75.00 charge for "A Make-up In-Store". I was not made aware that there would be charge for in essence, selling me their make-up. I understand that they need to cover their costs but if this is their policy it should have been made clear to me and a more user-friendly approach would be if the customer buys some make-up the $75.00 charge will be applied to the purchase of the products. I dont think Ill go in there anymore. Verna McLean

I went there to get a facial by a woman the owner raved about and the facial was terrible. It was supposed to be an hour facial and i was in and out in 40 minutes. I then sat in a chair and had the owner try to sell me natura bisse cream for $300 that my skin clearly didnt need. The makeup artist was sweet and gave me a free consultation/makeup lesson because she knew i wasnt happy about the facial and they clearly knew they were in the wrong. After the consultation i wanted to buy 4 of the products the artist had used on me and they had none of it in stock. How do you apply any products to customers that you dont even keep in stock?? Unreal. To top this all off the owner Julie then tried to sell me TESTERS of the NARS makeup i wanted to buy and the $300 face cream wrapped in bubble wrap (not even in a box). This place is so un organized, unprofessional and a rip off. I honestly dont know how they stay in buisness. My best advice..STAY AWAY!

I dont know how these people stay in business. I have been trying to buy an eye shadow and bronzer for a month now and they keep telling me they will get them in "today." They put my name on a waiting list! I never heard of a store not getting a popular product in for a month! They wont give you a refund so either way they get your money. Better off going to sephora where the employees are polite and have normal business hours instead of 11-5! I have driven back and forth to see if they have what I need 4 times, unbelievable. If they actually made good business decisions of how many items to stock up on, people would be able to buy a lot more.

I wish it were possible to rate something 0 stars. This place is terrible. What a rip off. They charge an extra $15 for having to use the tweezers after they charge $35 for an eyebrow threading! RIDICULOUS! Talked to someone named Julie who was yelling on the phone and getting angry with the CUSTOMER for inquiring about these extra charges. They failed to mention them until at the register to pay. Also they CAN do a refund, but they lie and say they can only give store credit. STAY AWAY!

They do sell a lot of very nice products here. Stopped in because I had forgotten some makeup while traveling, and bought some wonderful-smelling soaps as gifts too. The staff do give you a lot of attention but it felt a little pushy; I went in to buy a couple items on my lunch break and they were trying to get me to stay for a facial, threading, and makeup by the time I got to the register.

Today I had the pleasure of having a facial and my eyebrows done. It was my third facial by Iwona and as usual it was wonderful. I have sensitive skin and she is very careful and thorough. Ive been having my eyebrows plucked and tinted by Dita for over a year. Shes excellent- very careful and precise. Yes, Eiluj can be a little pricey, but the facials and the eyebrows are well worth it!

Extremely accommodating, very friendly atmosphere.. I saw Ditta for my eyebrows and couldnt be happier to find someone talented thats local. She explained everything very thouroughly and was confident with her execution. For sure will be returning!

My experience was fantastic. I was totally taken care of by the owner and staff! I am in love with my NARS eyeliner and recommend that if you are looking for a color or any other cosmetic need you must go there...you will walk out very satisfied.
