While I have never had my hair cut or colored here, and perhaps that is what they excel at, the spa experience is not good. Parking is a nightmare. Check-in and check-out is a nightmare with long lines. They should have a dedicated check-in desk. The spa area is not soothing as you hear all the noise from the hair department upstairs. Ladies locker room is tiny and there is no locker room for men at all. Carpet in the spa area is gross. The whole environment (upstairs and downstairs) is extremely loud with bad music blasting through the speakers and people yelling over it. Pedicure chairs are often broken. Facial menu is very basic with no deluxe options. Products used are just average...nothing high end...but prices are just as high as the best spas in the area. Ive tried massages, facials, waxing and manicures & pedicures here. The only thing worth going regularly for is the manicure. If management were better and focused on the spa, they could upgrade the products, treatments and atmosphere to provide a great experience. But, they just dont "get" what is necessary to be a fantastic spa, probably because Adam Broderick is a hair stylist/colorist, not a spa expert and unfortunately, he hasnt hired strong managers and committed to investing the money necessary to elevate the experience. He just spent months renovating the hair department -- thats all he focuses on. They also dont solicit customer feedback through routine surveys or feedback cards. Bottom line, I would only go to AB for manicures.

DeniseLor writes, I remember Adam when he had his little hideaway salon called Upper Cuts located in Ridgefield. Exceptional service beginning with the warm welcome from his hostess to hair color & design services top notch customer service (over 30 yrs ago).. This remains true today, while this Salon is on a much grander scale, the minute you walk through the doors you are confronted with beauty. The lovely boutique carries magnificent retail items from jewelry to handbags something for everyone (great price points) too! At times it seems a tad overwhelming checking in however, that is only a sign his customers come back due to excellent service... hes created a client bank like no other in Ridgefield I feel hes put Ridgefield on the map. Hes second location in Southbury operates with the same flare and commitment to excellence. I always leave feeling refreshed.. pampered...relaxed... due to the attention to detail. The spa is a different feel, allowing one to tap into their mind, body and spirit an oasis everyone should experience. The magical hands, products, knowledge and expertise the service providers showcase is of the highest quality in the industry. Adam has a vision and works daily with his staff to give everyone a "remembered memory" when visiting his Salon & Spas. Thank you Adam!

Ive been to this place a few times and I just went back today to get my eyebrows waxed. When I first walked in, the women at the front desk were not friendly or welcoming at all-no smiles, no "hello", just "what is your name?" There is no place at all to sit down while youre waiting; there are a few seats over by a window, but this place is always so "busy" so all the seats are taken. It was awkward to just to stand around. The Adam Broderick women would just look at you like, "what are you looking at?" Not a very welcoming place at all. Secondly, the staff has an attitude as if they are "better" than everyone else like, "oh-I-work-at-Adam-Broderick-because-Im-so-cool" attitude. Its OBNOXIOUS and RUDE! Naya is the one who waxed my eyebrows. At first, she was very nice, "Hi, how are you?" Then, she started to rudely say that my eyebrows were "over-plucked" and out of shape. The whole time she was waxing, she kept telling me to never use tweezers on my own; she was rubbing it in, trying to make me feel bad and to "promise" her I would never do it again. After that appointment, I decided that I never want to go back. Time to hire a new and more welcoming staff and to get rid of these RIDICULOUS girls!

I used to like this salon until everyone who worked with me suddenly stopped working there. Since Ive been back every stylist who has cut or colored my hair has butchered the job. (And I have given them at least 3 or 4 chances with different stylists.) I have also on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS had their "free bang trim" and ended up with centimeter long bangs! Shame on me for letting them touch my hair on the second occasion. The manager and staff offered me a fifteen percent discount on a waxing- thats it. Id rather save me money and not risk those parts of my body in such incapable hands :)

This was my second visit and my last. I felt like I was being pushed through a really slow assembly line. Once my colorist left me sitting in the chair to set, I did not see her until it was time to leave. She took another client and then washed her hair and handed me off to a newbee who took 45 minutes to wash and glaze my hair. 2:15 minutes later I left with wet hair. Offered a blow dry, but for an 1/2 a head of highlites is too long for a working mom. I was visibly upset and anxious during the wash, yet no one noticed or said anything to me.

Heading to AB tomorrow for my haircut! They always make it feel like an escape - scalp massage, warm tea and a little time under the dryer for my curly hair. Ive now been taking me kids to get their haircut there as well - its no more expensive than the other five places Ive tried. Daisy has been fabulous - my sons not a fan of getting his hair cut, but she puts him at ease, gets him lemonade and really focuses on him - the effort is clear - great, consistent haircuts. Top notch salon.

ALL THE BENEFITS AND PERKS OF A BIG CITY SALON...right here in my own backyard! Talented, friendly, capable staff, spa atmosphere, plus great gifts and products! I save money on train or NYC parking plus NYC prices. I am THRILLED and have been a loyal customer to the spa for over a decade, but just started going to DANIEL for my cut and color...what a pleasant surprise....I have never had a better haircut or highlights and he is a pleasure!

Its always busy, the phones are always ringing, its pricey but if you have the right stylists u are golden. I HIGHLY Recommend "JL" she is probably the best they have and she is totally worth every penny and the 3 months you have to weight for an appointment! Her color is perfect every time and each cut you get is even better than the last and that is saying a lot from a girl with curly hair.

OVERPRICED. I have been there twice - the first time I was disappointed, and the second I learned my lesson. Overpriced. Hair stylists are rude and didnt even offer water! At their prices they should! They push product and I didnt get nearly my moneys worth out of that place. Terrible, never going back.

I absolutely love this salon and the people. I moved to the US from Toronto, CA and found Adams salon at Kerastases website. I usually search for hairstylists that sell what I wear at home. LOVE the hair cut, colour and products they sell. Highly recommended it.
