Planet Fitness in New Rochelle seems to be an almost impossibly good deal. Spacious, well maintained, clean as a whistle, and almost always uncrowded. The staff is pleasant and courteous -- imagine the front desk attendant remembering me by name after just my first three visits, post sign up! The cardio equipment is new and well maintained, the weight equipment is startling in its variety, and the circuit-training area is really well laid out (12-minute abs area too). And on top of all this, you can sign up for free personal training sessions that at my hour (5:30-6:30 am) almost always have open slots. I have friends who pay 7-10 times as much as I do per month, and arent as satisfied with their gym. The only drawback is that parking on the street is a little tough pre-7am (havent gotten a ticket yet, but am waiting for it.) But really, it feels ungracious to complain about that, given the great deal these guys are giving me. I only mention it to demonstrate my objectivity. 20 years at New York area gyms, and this one gets my vote as the best, hands-down.

The best place to exercise, good friendly attention and professionalism of its employees. The place is spacious with a variety of exercise machines. Out of all of the planet fitness I have been to I would say this is the best due to the amount of space as well as machines. I like how the cardio machines are facing the tvs and not another workout area every machine is well spaced and spread out wisely. I like their tanning beds and how they separated the free weights downstairs really well thought out. I like how clean it is and not very crowded at certain times compared to the planet fitness Ive been to. The reason why I rated planet fitness a 4 star instead of five is due to their parking is off street and its metered parking unless you parked a couple of blocks away from the area, also the fact that they do not allow you to bring weight belts and attach weights to them. If they had a parking lot and they allowed weight belts to be used with their weights this would be 5 star.

this gym is pretty big, it has two floors so theres plenty of space to go around. its also fairly clean most of the time, Im pretty sure during peak hours its hard to keep up with, locker rooms are clean, bathrooms are 50/50 depending on whos working there. Equipment is clean and almost always in working condition. The 2nd floor is prodominantly all cardio machines minus the cable machine area in the back. Over all its the 2nd best planet fitness ive ever been to. I give it 4 stars because the planet fitness franchise in general doesnt have a large selection of workout machines and equipment. They also attract alot of people who are not serious about their workout, and take up space socializing.

Before, this facility had problems with managing the cardio circuit, and anybody can just cut into someone elses routine. Recently, hasnt been a problem for some time. But now, whoever is in charge of cleaning crew cannot have the decency to properly close off a section of the facility when they have to vacuum. Without proper notification ahead of time, workout routines from paying customers like myself were interrupted. We work on our routine to get the best results, and issues like those can ruin the flow. Please provide proper signage to indicate when a section of the facility is closed off for cleaning

Overall, the staff is friendly and have a good understanding of how to ACTUALLY keep a gym clean. Props to the people who already sanitize after using a machine or dumbbell; however, the only real small concern would be the atmosphere. The reason I say its a small concern is because they are not a lot of so called "gym heads" walking around all over the place but rather lazy people who often demotivate others! Stick to working out and get off your phones!

Excellent gym except no parking the meters run until 12 midnight. parking is killing this gym slowly .plus no protein shakes like some others. cant afford to pay for gym and parking. so we see if I continue to go there.

I went the first time , no one helps you , I believe if your new in the gym atleast they should show you around , n show you how to use the machines !!! But no one was really there , so it is ok for me .

I love this planet fitness compared to Kingsbridge, it always clean and smells good, lol it never smells like a sweaty gym. Its never seems dark and dreary like the other gyms Ive been to.

For the price its a good gym. i find that the facility is always clean when i go. Staff in nice. you have to pay to park on the street or utilize stop&shop parking lot.

Watered down hand soap in the restrooms, homeless people sleeping in the massage chairs. What happened to this planet fitness. Used to be my favorite location. SMH!!!
