Ive been a member of kinetics for over 5 years Ive been waiting for them to complete the indoor waterpark for also five years, they finally just opened it up today. At the time of signing up with Kinetics I was told that I would be able to bring my son in for him to have access and wouldnt have to pay an additional fee... that the reason my membership was so expensive was due to having access to the indoor water park, again the water park that took 5 years to complete. I have spent a fortune in this gym paying for Camp, swimming lessons so on and so forth so to be told that I need to pay an additional $80 for my son to have access to the water park was by far disappointing and upsetting. When asking the manager Phil if he thought it was fair that they were not holding up their end of our original agreement his answer was Yes. The family locker room is not even complete my son is 8 years old therefore Phil told me my son would have to walk through the male locker room to change his clothes and shower with other naked men as if this is appropriate for a young boy to go do without one of his parents. So again Im supposed to pay $80 for this?! He was not willing to work it out, he was not willing to make any suggestions other than either you pay the $80 a month or $40 guest fee for every time I decide to bring my son to the pool. I explained to him that lifetime in Westchester has an indoor outdoor pool and bunch of other activities for the kids such as tennis, karate a rock climbing wall, a family locker room and Im not even paying what theyre asking me to pay. He said I was lucky because Im not even paying what the new members will be paying, mind you I pay over $80 a month. Therefore I had to cancel my membership with kinetics because of them not honoring their agreement and not only that it also had to do with the manager and how he handled the whole situation he really needs to work on his people skills. Those of you looking for a gym membership I do suggest you take a look at Lifetime Fitness in White Plains its very clean very family-oriented they have a lot more of activities as well as add-ons like a spa for massages and facials, indoor and outdoor pool with table Service and a slide its worth the price with awesome facilities and very family oriented. Im disappointed in the fact that I had to cancel my membership I do love most of the staff such as Alex whos an amazing employee who always goes above and beyond.

The gym is ok but for the money is not worth it. Im a member for several months now and couple months ago I also enrolled in monthly private lessons. For months they are charging me double for my private lessons and even though I spoke with them multiple times regarding the issue they are still charging me. I ended up talking with the billing manager today who is still trying to figure it out. INCOMPETENTS! LAME!.

TYHE NEW MANAGER I THINK HER NAME IS DEANA... the most nastiest person I have ever encountered in my entire life. I LOVED THIS PLACE UNTIL SHE STARTED WORKING HERE LAST YEAR. Her face is always mean and rude attitude. She makes me want to quit my membership and the sad part is I love it here. I dont know why such a beautiful place have like the most nastiest person as there manager.

Im a member of this gym currently. Its pricey but worth it esp. if you have kids who are able to take advantage of the activities offered. I just wish they open an hour earlier than they do. If you compare them to other less expensive gyms, their hours of operation is not good at all. They definitely should open earlier during the week i.e. 4a.m.

Best place to come and have a good time , didnt even start my membership and still loved it, as soon as I seen the entrance I knew that it was amazing , the tour by alex was amazing and Im really hoping to come and workout with my friends. Personally believe that it looks better than any hotel in the city and it is not even a hotel

Cleanliness looks to be their priority(which I love) additionally their equipment is top notch. Seems to be a friendly staff as well. I usually go in the am 9-11 and the lot is always full but it doesnt seem to interfere with my workout. They must have enough equipment. A tad pricey but you get what you pay for.

This place doesnt care about anybody but them I wanted to cancel my membership that I never used because of personal issues and family health and they want to charge me another month witch is ridiculous all they want is the money would never go back again. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

They had me on the phone for 11 minutes going back and forth about membership rate . I just wanted a general idea and they kept insisting on me coming "in person" in order to join which made no sense because EVERY gym gives prices over the phone .

Kinetic is the best gym! Not only do they have the best fitness classes, they have the best youth sports programs as well. My son looks forward to it. The staff are all very professional and friendly.

Great place for kids if theyre into sports. 2 hours of supervised activities after school for kids during the winter saves us! Jobeth is a very professional and nice person to deal with.

Great gym: sauna, steam room, large towels, clean showers, lockers with combination system so you dont need a lock... It is the best gym I have ever used.

Very clean and well equipped facility. With an indoor waterpark which will open in May! Real fruit & protein smoothies are made fresh as you order them!

Great gym for kids. They have an indoor turf field for them to run around during the winter months. And, they open at 5am so I can workout before work.

Better than your average gym, only issue is its single location so cant workout while at work (in the city) or on vacation.
