Worst experience ever!!! I bought 2 shellac mani and pedi through groupon. I made my appointment online for me + 1 and to make sure we both will be taken care at the same time, I called to verify. I was told "all was fine, we both were booked for 5pm". When I got to the "spa" I was sent to the back to wait... there was just 1 person doing nails (bad sign). She started doing my nails 30min late, and I was told that my friend will be taken care after me. The reason why I called to make sure both our nails will be done at the same time was that we had other commitments right after the mani. While I was already 1:30min there doing my nails, another person came and there was a manicurist for her... why would the spa have a person for a new customer, while another customer has been waiting for 2 hours and nobody took care of her?? .. after all this, I ended up having the "manger" coming to me, who said he understood my problem; however he couldnt do anything to speed up the process, the person that came at 6:30 started doing her nails, not my friend.... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! In addition to that, the Shellac mani, lasted 5 days... yes, 5 days!!! I had it done in many places, it always lasted more than 2 weeks up to a month... Conclusion: WORST SPA, worst customer service and worst shellac ever! The only good thing I can say is that the girl that did my nails was nice!

Ive recently started getting my nails done here. I bought the 6 pack series and I definitely think its saving me money! I see Wilma, who is absolutely fantastic and a wonderful conversationalist. The quality of the services are exactly what you would expect from an Aveda salon...relaxing and high quality. The color selection isnt as vast as what youd get a regular mani/pedi spot, but they have Essie colors and the selection is very, very well curated. The nails stations are in the spa area. I like that you cant hear a single blow dryer or conversation happening outside the spa area.The pedicure room could be a little nicer. Id like to see them upgrade the soaking bowls and the lighting, but the overall quality of the pedicure is on point. Even a trip the beach for several days couldnt chip the pedi I got! I get Shellac manicures. Again, color selection is small, but well chosen. My manis last the full two weeks without chipping or getting dull. A couple of years ago, I had a Groupon massage here. Great masseuse, great atmosphere and really nice facilities. I got the stress fix massage and it was really fantastic! They didnt treat me any differently because I had a Groupon. That has happened to me in the past at other places.

A. I bought a 6 month membership because the first massage I got from Farkhod was amazing. B. Signed up for all my massages in advance for the 6 months C. 2 months in Farkhod left and no one told me, I go to my appointment with Farkhod and they say, oh hes no longer with us - you need to reschedule. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT BEFORE I CAME TO THE SALON?? D. about the 4-5th time I went, I woke up early to get a massage before work and I get there and they tell me my masseuse called out sick and I cant get a massage. AGAIN PISSED! They say they will reschedule me and send me a confirmation email. E. No email ever comes, and no its not in spam. Then I see a charge for a missed appointment on my card. An appointment I didnt even know about and they refused to refund me. Ive tried multiple times to talk to a manager and keep getting hung up on. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CRAP! DO NOT COME HERE AND DONT TRUST THEIR APPOINTMENT SYSTEM. CALL AHEAD BEFORE YOU GO TO YOUR APPOINTMENT CUZ THEY JUST MIGHT CHOOSE TO FIRE YOUR GUY/GIRL AND NOT TELL YOU THEN CHARGE YOU FOR AN APPOINTMENT THEY NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT.

I absolutely love Laura (hughes)!!!! I came to try out the salon in February with a Groupon and based on reviews, booked with Laura and I am so glad I did because shes fantastic!shes my kind of girl from personality to style to cutting! She had funky short hair, which I do too and its extremely fine and I dont have a lot of it but she makes me appear that I do which is very important for me In my career as an actor. The salon is very bright and clean and welcoming and everyone seems to be very professional and focused on their craft. They offer tea and water each time you come, love it :) Emily, the manager, is also very nice and isnt pushy. I asked her about their membership and she explained it to me without forcing it on me, which I really appreciate. Thursday was my second time here and I will continue to come for laura!! Thank you, asanda! OH! and for those tight on money like myself, their last minute appointment deals are incredible!! Sign up to receive notice ;)

My husband bought me a hot stone massage as a birthday present when we were visiting New York. I love Aveda Institute in London so was really excited. My massage was the weirdest, most uncomfortable and sometimes painful experience. The guy talked ALOT - including swearing (I can kinda excuse that as he was talking about Trump!), but I was expecting a quiet, calming hour, not non-stop chat. The massage itself was odd - I was pushed and shoved, poked and jabbed. The hot stones were a waste of time as he just rubbed them over my body - he didnt use them to massage. There were no fluid motions, it was all just sharp, painful jabs. He made zero attempt to move around the room quietly. I feel like it was more like going to the Chiropractor or sports massage - he actually purposely clicked my joints. I felt so sad as my husband was so excited to treat me and it left me feeling really bruised and not remotely relaxed. Never again!

This is my 5th time working with Laura and all I can say it gets better and better. Laura is one of the most professional, caring and friendly hair stylists I have ever met. She always spends the time to answer any question I have and more importantly, at this point she really knows what is best for my hair. She takes her time to make me look beautiful and honestly, Asanda Soho is one of the best hair salons I have ever been in. I am their loyal customer forever. Steve at the front desk made my visit even more special by his friendliness and help. I highly recommend this hair salon to anyone who wants to not only look more beautiful but to be surrounded by wonderful people who will make you experience a true pleasure. THANK YOU!

Ive been here twice. The first time I got the signature massage. It was wonderful. Most recently, I got the hot stone massage and a facial. The services were wonderful and the staff were kind and professional but still fun and enjoyable. The reason why this is a four star and not a five star rating is because most recently, my massage was shorter than expected. I was running late...granted that is my own fault, but my massage was shortened to make up for my lateness although there was no one immediately after me. In that situation, I feel that the shortening of my massage was unnecessary. But, overall, I highly recommend.
