Unfortunately for me, my VW GTIs transmission died on me suddenly. It was getting old and just wasnt worth he huge amount of money needed to repair it. I decided though Im going to have to get a car loan and get into a bit more debt, I really need a newer car. My first three cars I ever owned were all Hondas before I converted to VW. Anyway I got interested in a Honda CR-Z. I scoured the internet and stumbled on what looked to be a very low mileage, very pristine looking CR-Z that happened to be located at Baron Honda. I also saw what seemed to be a good deal on this model on a slightly newer CR-Z but the dealer was 2 hours away in NJ vs my ride to Baron which was only about 20 minutes. Ah, finally the review. I made an appointment with a guy named Steve J. at Baron..hes in the used car department. From my very first phone call to Steve he JUST sounded like a good guy..hard to explain. I finally get to Baron, meet with Steve and he again just seems like a regular genuine nice person. He showed me the car...and let me sit in it a while alone, NO PRESSURE, I could touch anything I wanted, open the hood, hatch, whatever..no sales pressure nobody looking over your shoulder. Steve returned to the CR-Z which I was now sitting in and asked if I wanted to test drive it. Again no pressure, Steve let me take it for a nice long ride ALONE, which makes a difference cause you dont feel any pressure, you can more concentrate on the actual car. Long story short to my surprise I loved the car. I did not expect to. I sat with Steve..we crunched some numbers..he asked me what I might be comfortable with as far as a monthly payment. The monthly payment was coming out a little too high for my comfort zone. Steve said hed talk to the general manager see if they can do any better. I never got the general managers name but he also gave off a pleasant non pushy vibe. Book short, between Steve and the manager they actually reduced the price of the car about $500, promised me a REALLY low rate of 1.9% though I do have really good credit. Again we crunched the numbers, now Steve got me to a monthly payment I was comfortable with. At NO time did I feel ANY pressure at all from Steve or his manager. I agreed to buy the car...and we set the day to pick it up. In the interim I had to contact Steve a few times about a few things I forgot to ask, he was always courteous and had great communication which is rare these days. I came to pick up the car, sat with Theresa in Financing. Theresa was yet another person at Baron who just seemed so pleasant and nice!. Shes the one who got me the great rate. Of course her job is also to discuss a warranty I was expecting that. I am NOT a warranty type guy but having had so many problems with my last two Volkswagens I decided to listen..and not JUST say no. She explained about Honda Care...but again NEVER EVER in a pushy sort of way. I actually WANTED a warranty this time around..Theresa worked the numbers out with a little help from my credit card plus extending my loan a few months YET staying at my great rate that I still had my comfortable monthly payment, no change in my payment, but now I have a great warranty and peace of mind. Theresa was just so pleasant and patient..again I wasnt expecting that. Once I was all done , saw the car..was detailed rather nicely...noticed a small chip in the paint that may or may not have been there 2 days prior. Steve was nice again, ordered me a free bottle of touch up paint..as the little chip was really no huge deal To sum up this BOOK, My experience with Baron Honda was just wonderful. Totally NOT the usual pushy treatment you usually feel at most dealers. From my experience I would highly recommend this dealer...especially to deal with Steve and Theresa. Also dealt with a Jenna G, Jennider Sugg,, and Amy W on the Internet with my sometimes neurotic e-mails :) and they were also very helpful and courteous. well done Baron Honda!!

Once I decided to look into used Pilots, I began going to local dealerships. Some were obnoxious, some seemed reluctant to show me what I was asking for. Still, others claimed to have a large selection online or over the phone, but when I arrived, the selection was suddenly much less. After looking over the Baron Honda website then calling to confirm they had a number of used pilots on site, I decided to make the drive out to Patchogue. I was greeted at the door by salesman Louis Natarus. He asked if he could help me with anything. I replied I was interested in looking at used Pilots. He replied "Let me get my coat." and we headed to the front of the lot. He asked if there was anything specific I was looking for and I told him the few qualifications I was looking for. We went down the line of pilots and he read me their descriptions, their mileage and their list price. He made note of any special features and after showing me all of the ones that met my criteria, he asked if there were any i was interested in. He then got keys for the ones i mentioned. He showed me them inside and out. He never once made me feel like he was selling something. He was giving me information that would help me make my decisions. One of the Pilots had everything I was looking for and came close to my price range. After some very casual negotiations and a test drive, i would have been a fool to pass. The selection was excellent, the price was excellent but the service was what brought it all home. I dont like the tactics and demeanor of a lot of the salesmen I met before I came to Baron. Louis had none of that. He was informative and relaxed. He didnt patronize me or try to pressure me in any way. In the end, i was almost amazed at how easy the process was. I will be recommending Baron Honda to anyone i know looking for a new car, and i will definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of driving in my cousins new Honda Civic. I was impressed by the quality of the ride and the style of the dashboard. She had nothing but praise for the car and was also well satisfied with the gas mileage. I have been a very happy Toyota owner for more than 20 years. Since my last car, a 2009 Corolla, was just paid off, I thought I would take the time to do some "shopping around." A little background info....In 47 years of marriage we have owned chevrolet...pontiac...buick...lincoln and a ford tempo ( that I fought and won--to have bought back under the "Lemon Law") and was always disappointed with their performance. We switched to Toyota and happily never looked back. This time around we thought we would try to do our part and buy "Amercian". We visited Chevrolet and Chrysler and test drove both as well as spent several hours with different sales personnel. We had decided on the Chrysler 200 when I did some comparison research on line---every review said "If you like this car check out the Honda Civic------" It was truly our good fortune to have gone to Baron Honda and have sales associate Jack Curran take care of us. Though your cars can almost sell themselves it was a wonderful experience. The dealership itself is friendly and Jack is top notch as an associate. He was friendly, informative and someone that you would like to call a "friend." We bought the Civic right there and then! I would like to add that my husband and I were quite impressed to read how many cars are actually manufactured in the U.S. and thought perhaps that might do well to be in your media advertising. (Thanks Jack for showing us the literature!) Our daughter (who currently has a Toyota lease) will be visiting Jack at Baron! Thanks again for a great buying experience!
