I never write reviews, and by never I mean this is the first review Ive ever written. I do not trust mechanics at all, Ive always had problems with them, but let me tell you, thank god Ive found this place. The owner Mathew is super nice and welcoming, he makes you feel more like a friend than a costumer. And they know what they are doing. Ive had a noise in my car that no other mechanic could tell me what it was, no one could figure it out. Every place I went they would just guess what it needed and give ridiculous estimates. I took my car to Mathew for an inspection, and to have the noise looked at. He found it, changed the parts with GENUINE brand original parts, and poof, the noise is gone, and my car drives like new! I will always go back to this place. Thank you guys for the professional work!

At the discretion of AAA my car was towed to MD Auto for failed brakes. I am visiting N.Y. from Orlando and just had my brakes done including the master cylinder about 30 days ago. The master cylinder failed and I was not able to get any relief from my mechanic in Orlando. Matt ( I assume one of the owners) was able to secure me a credit through a warranty company that my mechanic in Orlando didnt help me out with. The credit amounted to more than half my Bill. The process was painful but Matt was able to get that done with same day service. I doubt that I will ever need mechanic services in Patchogue,N.Y. but if I do I will run back to MD Auto. They did a great job with a great attitude!!!

They were amazing. Im so happy that AAA directed me here. I was far away from home (5+ hours) and my car got jacked up!!!, but, they fixed what needed fixed so I could make it home safely. I was worried about cost. And I mean worried to the point of tears because I was going to be stranded with no way home. But the cost in the end was right where it needed to be and they helped me so tremendously in my time of need that I really cant thank them enough. The staff is great. So friendly and they know what they are doing. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who is having car issues. I never write reviews either but these guys deserve it!!!!

I had an exceptional experience with the service and customer care at MD....Just when I was thinking that there were no honest mechanics around nevertheless, MD auto repair converted my false belief. The service was so awesome that I am compelled to return if I have another car issue. The price can feel prickly, however, the service cancels out the sting, with quality, honest, and integrity. Matt and David, were great and I honor their service. Namaste If anyone is in doubt, make a hard left, quick right and bee line to MD Auto Repair. It is very hard to go to a mechanic or Auto Repair shop you can trust .. You CAN TRUST M and D not only did the crew do an excellent job but Matt was very thorough with everything that needed to be done every step of the way .. My Jeep runs smooth service there is is great!! So I suggest if your looking to take your car somewhere but feel knots in your stomach because you do not feel comfortable bringing it to just anywhere... just bring it to M and D in Patchouge they will do a great job and Matt will help you out every step of the way ..Safe Driving :)

I had a terrible experience with a tow that i received. I was very disappointed. Matt the owner called me the next day and was very apologetic and compassionate. I was actually taken aback. He told me he would look into the issue further and prevent this from happening again....i hope that he does as this tow driver was absolutely horribly RUDE and inconsiderate. After speaking with Matt I am revising my review to reflect his care for customer service.

I only came across M&D when I had to use AAA. Boy am I glad that I found these guys. Ive had to use their service a few times since and I couldnt be more happy with the services provided. Reliable, knowledgeable, honest, affordable and when they say theyll have it done, they do. Even if it means staying late. Its hard to find a shop you can trust and trust me, these guys are legit. A couple of weeks ago we had wheel bering go out on our 2002 Montana van on a visit to Long Island. We really could have been SCREWED, instead we were lucky enough to find this shop close to where we were in Bayport. These guys fit us in on a Saturday, got us fixed up and didnt charge us an arm and a leg. Thank you so much. So glad we found a an honest, dependable shop so far from home. A+++ rating.

Worst shop to ever exist has been found. Had a vehicle towed, waited 3 hours for them to pick it up. Then waited for other 4 hours for the car to be delivered to the repair shop. "Apparently" the original towed truck broke down. So another was dispatched. I was never told, no update on the status of where my vehicle was. Their response was, "Things happen." lol bunch of a*hole. Avoid at all cost.
