Excellent Shop. Very Nice and Honest. Owner Alex was extremely helpful. I took my wifes 2005 Murano to check out what i thought was a U joint problem. Alex had one of his mechanics (Dennis) lift the car and check out what was going on. Turns out that it wasnt a u-Joint problem but a TRANSMISSION issue. It sounded like all the gears were tearing up the inside. A REALLY BAD SOUND!!. Dennis also notice that Both controller arms were Shot and so were the struts. ANY other shop would have tried to fix it and hit me over the head $$$$ price wise - BUT The guys at EAST COAST were completely honest with me and told me it was not worth it. the MURANO - NISSAN for that matter is a really bad car - Never again will i buy Nissan. But long story short. EAST COAST AUTO BODY are stand up guys. i will recommend to friends and family. Thanks again Alex

After taking my car to Nissan and being told that the belts just needed an adjustment, I was having the same belt problems. Soon thereafter, my power window wasnt working and I brought my car to east coast. They fixed the window, tightened the belts and discovered a broken axle on the front right, which explained why my high mileage car felt like it needed new shocks. I thought all the prices were reasonable but at the same time the estimate was a little more than I expected to pay considering I didnt realize the axle was broken. When I got the car back, WOW! It drove like it did years ago and me and my wife will never go back to Nissan. East Coast also does body work and gave me a great estimate to bang out a dent in my wifes car. We will get that done soon as it feels great to finally have a mechanic in the neighborhood we can rely on.

Not sure how this place has a decent review. I am STRONGLY convinced they are fake/family reviews. Worst, worst service ever. I called them early in the day asking if they can install some spacers (literally a 5 minute job). The mechanic angrily goes "yes come...bye". Being optimistic, I still go & make my travel from the Bronx. I arrive and I am "greeted" by the absolute most disrespectful b*tch. I tell her what Im here for, and she calls a mechanic saying "I have someone here & I dont know what the hell to do with these people". Let that one slip too...after waiting 10min. Absolutely nothing, no one came to help. I just simply left afterwards.

East Coast is that rare unicorn of inexpensive, quick, and friendly. My most recent visit was for a flat tire. They saw me almost immediately, took the tire off, removed the object (a huge shard of glass, I believe), plugged it, and put it back on in under 20 minutes. And it was only $15. Ive also had some other mechanical repairs. An axle replacement was around $100 or $150, I seem to remember.

Lots of friendly staff here and they fixed my power steering quickly and for a fair price. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because they said at first it would be done next day and that either way theyd give me a call and they didnt, so I had to call into them the next day to see where it was at. The whole power steering was fixed in two days:)
