Marketing yourself and gaining recognition with a company is a large part of landing a job. You cant be hired if the company doesnt know you exist regardless of how great you feel you would fit in or want a job. Instead of just being one of thousands of online submitted resumes, Aerotek represents a voice whose one and only job and their own success is based off of you being hired for the job that is right for you as well as for the hiring company. Let them be your own personal marketer. I worked directly with Patrick Coleman from the Aerotek Rochester office, and he was in constant communication with me and the company I wanted to go to every day for a period of 4 months and walked me through 4 interviews with the company I wanted to go to. I did not have the liberty of daily communication with the potential employer since I was working a job that I despised that took up my time during business hours. Pat and I actually became good friends and have continued to keep in touch on top of our working relationship through Aerotek. I could not recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a job or are unhappy with your current job, there is no reason to not contact them.

Aerotek reached out to me regarding a job opportunity in the Pittsburgh, PA area after seeing my resume online. While the opportunity was great, I was actively seeking to relocate to Rochester, NY. The friendly and professional staff quickly put me in touch with a representative for the Rochester area, Cathlin OMay. I had applied to a few dozen job opportunities prior to working with Aerotek and had heard no responses from any organizations. Within a couple months Cathlin was able to find an open position that fit perfectly with my skill set. Her work did not stop there, however, and she patiently waited "by my side" for around a dozen interviews spanning approximately a month and a half. At times that I wished to give up on the hiring company, Cathlin had nothing but energetic words and consistently emphasized that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. I took her advice, and now my family has managed to relocate and I find myself within a career that I hope to retire within. Im greatly looking forward to future meetings with Cathlin and Aerotek and consider them a part of my family for all the help they provided.

After not finding success job hunting on my own, I decided to give temp agencies a shot. I sent in my information to a few agencies, but I noticed Aerotek seemed to have the best job postings online. I wasnt sure what to expect. I only heard back from one agency. Zach Shipley called me back the day after I sent in my application, and we were having a face to face within a few days (still crickets from the other guys). He made me feel comfortable with the process, and I was quickly convinced that this was the right move. He quickly landed me an interview, and gave me some great insight on what to expect during the interview. Less than two weeks after initial contact, I received a job offer. Post job offer, the process ran smoothly. From onboarding through benefits enrollment, everyone at Aerotek treated me professionally, and responded to my requests and questions in a courteous, timely manner. I recommend reaching out to Aerotek if youre on the job hunt, and need some guidance, or just want someone in your corner.

Derek Saved my life - not being sarcastic but seriously I was on a great career path for a field that I desired until one day our manager quit and we had to restart with new management at my old job. It turned out it became a micro management hell. I went day in and out with stress and being unhappy. So I decided to quit. I called Aerotek to look for a new job. Most staffing agencies can be real jerks and are just desperate sales reps tying to fit you in a weak position so they can get their quota. But when I talked to Derek, I immediately gain hist trust. We went through a process on trying to figure out what I really want to do for my next career path. After all that we ended up finding a great fit for me. I havent been more happy in my entire life. It just goes to show you to never give up on your job searching you will never know what you will run into in life. I recommended Derek to anyone.

Aerotek is, by far, the best staffing agency Ive had the pleasure of working for. Mike Stark was extremely diligent in preparing me for my interview, ensuring the appropriate paperwork and references were in place, and overall keeping me informed throughout the entire process. Everyone at Aerotek is very professional, yet personable. Whenever I called/emailed Mike, Casey or Danielle, they knew exactly who I was without having to pull up my file. They also took the initiative to check in on multiple occasions to ensure that I was happy and doing well in my new position. Whats more, they are very appreciative of the work that you do...from hand-written thank you notes, birthday and Christmas cards to "Contractor of the Month" awards. I would highly recommend Aerotek to anyone seeking employment.

Customer Service Temp (Current Employee), Rochester, NY –August 22, 2016 Aerotek is the best staffing agency I have ever worked for. The recruiters are kind and sincer. Once you meet and work with a recruiter they make you feel comfortable and extremely important in many ways. They call you to make sure you are comfortable with your placement and address any and all concerns if any. I have worked with them in two different states for almost 1 year and I will never work for a different staffing agency again. I also want to add and say that all those I have worked with who also came from Aerotek had/have nothing but great things to say about Aerotek!
