The actual experience wasnt terrible however their customer service and communication is horrible. Scheduled 2 pedicures at the same time (1pm) for myself and mother in person. Day before appointment received a call verifying my appointments for 1 pm. Day of appointments received a phone call 45 minutes before the scheduled appointments (12:15) rudely asking if we were still planning on coming to the appointments since we were a half hour late to our appointments! When we arrived at 12:50 for our 1 pm appointments they told us they couldnt accommodate us since we were late, when in reality we were 10 minutes early. I showed the receptionist my appointment card and played the voicemail from the day before verifying the appointments. She finally found a way to proceed with our appointments but blamed the issue on us instead of taking responsibility for their own mistake (apparently was put into the computer system incorrectly). Will never return!

I get my pedicures and manicures done here with Lisa - she is the best nail technician I have ever had work on me! Very good at her job. Also, very funny and great personality! Also, my son gets his hair cut here by Shannon. You would think a boys cut would be easy, but it took me years to find someone who was good at it! Shannon is amazing at getting my sons hair in shape without ruining it. I feel like before Shannon I was just grateful if a haircut was done ok, as long as it wasnt awful! Now I know boys can have great haircuts as well! Shannon is also incredible with little kids. Her outgoing and exuberant personality really makes my son feel welcome and not like hes some annoying kid on the schedule. She talks to him the whole time, spins him around in the chair, jokes with us. Shes fantastic! We have great experiences at Studio Expo!

Once I started going to Shannon for my haircuts, Ive never wanted to see anyone else! She is a master craftsman and always makes me look my best. Ive also had massages, facials, and waxing done here, and they are all excellent and reasonably priced! The staff is without exception warm, professional, and competent. On one occasion, my regular aesthetician wasnt available the day I wanted to come in, so the owner, Sue, offered to step in. She has amazing hands, there was no irritation afterward, and my skin was glowing for weeks! I relocated to Buffalo, but I happily make the drive to come for salon services here. The waiting area is also clean and comfortable, with a wide variety of magazines and products to peruse, and a selection of coffee and tea. Give them a try!

dont go to studio expo. The owner has no class and charges full price for spa pedicure when her chairs are all broken and polish selection is poor. Staff is wonderful and Im sad for them. Spoke to owner directly after visit. She cant afford new chairs and I should understand because the chairs are used so much that they are breaking. My thought its if they are used that much she should have that money to replace them. If not, dont charge full price and if a customer complains try to make them happy. All she did was make me angry enough to cancel my next appointment and two others with me. Even then she didnt care......i was a regular so she just lost over $200 a month. Im only sorry for the employees that have to deal with the broken equipment and her

I have been there twice. Once a number of years ago and I thought Id stop in and see what they had available and how their salon and spa worked. They asked me if I had an appointment and when I said no they were extremely rude to me and treated me as if I were an idiot for stopping by. Needless to say I left. The second time I went was today and I was hopeful things had changed since the last time. I was horribly disappointed when I stood there at the counter for 2-3 minutes while the people who worked there completely ignored me. They walked around me, talked to each other looked on their computer and basically acted as if I didnt exist. Finally I once again walked out. The staff are rude and insensitive. I will not be stopping by again.

Best experience Ive ever had with a salon and anyone ever doing my hair. They are true professionals. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The salon is pristine and organized, its obvious everyone who works here loves theyre job and performs to the best of ability. The consultation was very clear and my expectations were precisely met and I couldnt be happier with my stylist. Never had such a fantastic experience and I recommend this to anyone in need of any beauty treatments. I cant wait to try out theyre massages and skin treatments!! Best place in Rochester for any beauty service hands down. Dont believe me? Come in and check it for yourself how awesome this establishment is.

Studio Expo is full of excitement and heart warming staff. All the employees carry a smile that is very welcoming. I enjoy going in there every month for my services. The prices are also very reasonable! This is the place to go to get the latest fashion tips for your hair and I would recommend Studio Expo for anyone who is looking for a "pamper yourself" day! And also, The pedicure chairs are not broken, they are fixed! :)

Ive gone here several times and gotten great service for facials, however, their hair dressers are not the best. Ive never had the same person twice. It is a very clean, modern, comfortable place.

They had to retone my highlights two days later because they didnt do it correctly. For the money you spend there, it should be done right the first time.
