I WENT THERE FOR 2 FRONT TIRES AND A INSPECTION ON SEPT 6. WELL..... I WAS TOLD THAT MY TRUCK WILL NOT PASS SAFTY INSPECTION DUE TO THE RIGHT OUTTER TIE ROD BEARING THAT THERE MECHANIC CLAIMS WAS BAD....THEY THEN TOLD ME IT WOULD COST 535.00!!!!!!!! I TOLD THEM TO FAILL MY INSPECTION SO I COULD GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT SUCK PIT!!!! I TOLD THEM I WORKED IN MANY SHOPS IN MY LIFE, AND A AIRCRAFT MECHANIC BY TRADE. I WOULD BE TOTALY EMBARRASSED TO TELL SOMEONE 200.00 DOLLARS FOR A PART THAT COST 25.00 AND THEY PROBALY GET FOR 10 DOLLARS!!! BUT YET THEY TRYED TO JUSTIFY SAYING ITS LABOR INTENSIVE!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANGING THE ENGINE WOULD BE LABOR INTENSIVE!! LETS SEE..... AT BEST THE PART COST 25 DOLLERS..IF YOU DO ALL OF THEM . THATS 100 DOLLARS. THAT LEAVES 435 DOLLARS IN LABOR COST!! FOR A JOB THAT THE WORST MECHANIC CAN DO IN TWO HRS!! ALSO WHILE I WAS WAITING THERE. A LADY APPARENTLY HAD TO BRING HER CAR BACK BECAUSE AFTER SELDEN FIRESTONE DID THE TIRES AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT. SHE HAD TO BRING IT BACK. BECAUS THE WHEEL ALIGNMENT WAS OFF ,AND SHE HAD TIRE VIBRATION. WOW!! FIRESTONE OF SELDEN CANT EVEN DO WHAT THEY ARE SUSPOSE TO DO!! OHH BY THE WAY FIRESTONE OF SELDEN!!! YOU NEVER PUT THE VALVE STEM CAPS ON MY NEW TIRES!! AND TELL YOUR SUPER GENIUS MECHANIC THAT WORKED ON MY TRUCK.... TAKE THE REAR TIRES OFF NEXT TIME YOU DO A SAFTY INSP!!!! YOU MAY HAVE FOUND SOME MORE WORK BACK THERE!! GESS YOU MISSED THAT RIGHT REAR BRAKE LIGHT TOO!!! SOOOO. MY LONG STORY SHORT. GO TO MAVIS TIRES . YOU PROBALLY GET BETTER WORK DONE THERE. OR MAYBE A JUNK YARD ALSO. BUT I DEFFINITELY DO NO RECOMMEND FIRESTONE IN SELDEN!!! I HAVE TO PUT ONE STAR. BECAUSE I CANT LEAVE NO STAR!!!!!!!!! PS... THEY GET THERE TRASH PARTS FROM AUTO ZONE!!! GO TO TIRE RACK!!!!!!

Complete rip off artists. Went in for an alignment and inspection. They call me and tell me it needs a tie rod end, a new interior air filter, and there is a power steering leak so they cant pass it. I say dont do anything, ill pick it up. As Im on my way to get it they call again and ask if I still want the alignment. Why would you do an alignment on a car u say needs a tie rod end? They are a joke. Went to a real mechanic. Rod ends are good, no leaks, just some oil from a recent oil change. Alignment and inspection done for 80 bucks, new filter for 15. They wanted 400 for the job. Either complete incompetence or scam artists.

Ive gone to these guys a few times, mostly for inspections, almost exclusively on weekends. Im not a mechanic, but I do most of my own maintenance and know my way around a car. Theyve been honest with me and every time they suggested work needed to be done, it needed to be done, and they were happy to prove this to me before the work was done. Rates for getting work done are about average, not exorbitant, but not really a discount either. Theyre open on Sundays for inspections, but on a first come, first served basis, which is a plus for me.

I think the tech was Harry. I took my car in for a wheel balance, he came to take a look at it and instantly said my rims were no good and said that If I balanced them forever it wouldnt make a difference. I almost sold the rims. I went across the street, someone did it for $30, all 4 are balanced and my car doesnt shake anymore. Firestone just lost my business.

Worst experience in my life with these people. They like to drive around in your car (with a unknown passenger and without permission), damage your car and say they have no clue what happened. Lost brakes one week after they put on new tire discs which according to them was needed because of the inspection. Never ever will I use these people.

I went there twice for oil change and thought theyre nice. The only problem was that I made an appointment for an oil change at 1PM. I took my car there on time but had to wait for 25 minutes before they began to service my car. It took a total of ~1hr, i.e., no advantage of online appointment compared to walk-in.

i went there for an oil change, new brakes, and new rotors, they changed me $500. dont go here unless youre made of money. autozone gave me my check engine light diagnosis for free, and firestone wants $115 for just the diagnosis. never go here.

Ive been going to them for six years and theyve always been professional and honest. I was always used to having my own personal mechanic that I knew very well. This Firestone made a smooth transition.

8 hours they had car only to tell me it failed nys inspection for tints horrible customer service couldnt even call and tell me i had to call them wasted my entire day dont waste your time
