WORST BODY SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, When I got in my accident, they told me I had to wait for my car to be towed when I was waiting to go to the hospital. I waited for almost two hours when they finally told me to just leave that they were running late. This should have been a red flag. Then I didnt hear from them for days! I called, emailed, and no responses! Then, they told me my car would be ready in ten days. I did not get my car back for almost two months, and when I picked it up, it still had things wrong with it! They did the absolute bare minimum. They gave me my car with my gas tank on E! Also, my wiper fluid magically disappeared. No one returned any of my phone calls. And when I called they told me they didnt understand why I was calling. How about the fact that I work full time and need to make arrangements to pick up my car. They also repaired something without my authorization and then charged me for it. After I left I noticed some things were wrong with the car so I brought it back and they told me the breaks need to be replaced. So, they released a vehicle with knowledge of bad breaks without notifying me, putting the driver and the passenger in danger. They werent even willing to fix it. DO NOT USE THIS BODY SHOP. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! I wish I read the reviews before I went there! They take total advantage!

I cant say enough about Sals Auto Body I recently had my 2009 Corvette Z06 for some slight damage done on the from bumper there are impeccable service and attention to detail The headache of having your car in a body shop which for any true car guy seems like your girlfriend is in the hospital and youre constantly wondering/Worrying if everything is going well and when theyre going to be discharged and they did keep me updated and let me know when the car was going to be done and it was ready when they said it was going to Be The color match was perfect spot on and now my car is back to looking brand new I am so thankful to the team at Sals Auto Body you guys do great work and I highly recommend anyone looking to get their car fixed correctly the first time to go visit Sals once again thank you to everybody that works at Sals I couldnt be happier to have my car back

Problem solved, thanks My SUV was involved in an accident in August 2016, I contacted Competition BMW and they recommended Sals Auto Body in St. James, NY, as a certified BMW repair service, But unfortunately, I had to pay $1004 for car rental because it took them 58 days to return my truck, though they promised to pay the balance of the rental fee as the insurance covers only 30 days, Now they say they will pay only 6 days rental fee which I didnt accept, I don’t understand how can a BMW dealer recommend such a place that conduct deceiving ways of running a business? They knew that I had to pay for car rental after the first 30 days, yet they kept saying well deliver next week after week, which was 3 weeks and 6 days after the date they promised to finish the repair and return my truck to me!

This shop is deserves more then five stars. After my one year old bmw was hit I was besides my self and didnt no who to trust to do a great job, Laura and her great team assured me that everything would be taken care of and it was ! I didnt have to do a thing Laura keep in contact with me and made sure the job was done perfect and right I had my car back in no time and it looked just as beautiful as the day I got it ! This shop was professional, clean and stood by there work. I will never bring my car anywhere else. Im glad to have a collision shop that I trust and I know will do amazing work. Laura and Sabrina you were sweethearts thanks so much again !!

THE MOST AMAZING BODY SHOP EVER!!!! This body shop fixed my Acura TL and it looked better than it did when i first bought it. The people that work there are extremely nice they keep you updated throughout the whole repair. I was recommended to go to Sals from Smithtown Acura and Im glad I listened to them because I know my car wouldnt have looked this great going anywhere else. From the minute I walked into Sals I was in love....the place is so clean and they have coffee and snacks in the waiting area for all their customers!!!I def recommend this body shop to everyone!!!!!!

So from the first second i walked in the door i was treated with amazing customer service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and on top of there game. I would reccommend sals auto body in st. james to anybody and everybody. Laura, danielle and xiomar were awsome they kept me updated every couple of days on the progress on my repairs. When i picked up my vehicle it looked like the day i took it off the lot. The car was detailed and it drives like nothing ever happened. In conclusion they were wonderful and i would go back because of the staff alone. - alexis

Worst body shop I have ever dealt with!! Charged me up the rear end for parts I never even received on my car and when I got my car back it had more broken parts than it went in with. Although the body work was done, if the body shop knew what they were doing they would have checked the car thoroughly before releasing it and maybe they would have noticed the dented and hanging exhaust pipe and broken tail light with super glue on it. I would keep researching other body shops.

I have been in the automotive industry for over 25 years and Ive had to use body shops many times with my own cars and mostly my customers cars . SALS auto body is the only shop Ill ever bring cars to for repair for they are simply the best on Long Island. Thanks to the woman that runs the shop Laura for she really knows what it takes to make the repair just like it was new . IF NOT BETTER THEN NEW !! Thank you Laura

Fantastic job and top quality service. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Being a woman alone, its usually intimidating to deal with auto issues, but they held my hand and helped me every step of the way. Im not sure why the other reviewer was dissatisfied, but Im sure if he went back to them to complain, they would have fixed the problem free of charge.

From start to finish the whole experience at Sals has been fantastic. The staff is a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Laura had my car looking better than new in a couple of short days. I would highly recommend this shop if you have had a fender bender. There work and staff is spectacular. Thank You, John P

From start to finish my experience at Sals Auto Body was pleasant and professional. I picked up my car today and they did a really beautiful job on it. I couldnt be more pleased with the level of service and the quality of their work. I have used Sals several times over the years and they are consistently excellent. Highly recommend!
