This review comes late and I apologize to the guys at Portside Collision. Last year my parked car was hit by someone driving a U-Haul truck with a Learner’s Permit. That was the first time that I ever had to put a claim in through my insurance company. Unfamiliar with the process, I called Juan at Portside Collision to get an idea of the car repair process. He was extremely pleasant over the phone and was kind enough to explain everything in detail. When I took my car in for him to assess the damage, without rushing me, he once again explained the process. I was pleased with his response and felt comfortable in leaving my car. Juan took me to Enterprise to get a rental, worked out the difference with the insurance company and the second claims adjuster, got original parts for my Jeep, completed my car before a snow storm was to hit and then returned the rental for me. It was such a seamless and hassle free process because of my insurance company and the guys at Portside Collision. The job was amazing and their customer service was superb. Having to deal with a car repair at the same time I was buying my first house would normally be a stressful situation, but I thank Juan for not making it so!!!

I just got my car back from here and the work came out better than I ever expected! With the amount of damage that happened during my accident I thought my car would never be the same again. In fact, my car looks better than before my accident!!! Before I went to Portside, I shopped around at different shops and almost everyone I met made me feel as if I was being "hustled." Contrary to that when I met Juan and Rob, I felt as though they were honest and genuine with me, and continued to make me feel comfortable throughout the insurance and repair process. They even picked up my phone call every time I called. This was completely different then a bad previous experience I had at a different shop in the area, when my wife was in an accident a few years ago. I never expected this level of customer service from a bodyshop .I am now a customer for life and will never go anywhere else. I will recommend you guys to anyone that needs work done!

I have never experienced someone like Juan who dedicates himself to doing a great job. Hell treat your car like its his own. I looked around for a body shop who would paint my 1988 Toyota Supra as the previous paint was getting tired and cracking. I encountered some body shop owners either not wanting to get involved or wanting to do a full restoration. I wanted the car to look good but didnt want to spend a fortune. He gladly took the job and gave me a middle of the road price and expectation of the quality paint job. As it turned out he went above and beyond what I expected and was told. He worked on the car over the winter months and took his time removing bumpers, quarterpanel glass, door handles, spoiler, mirrors and more. I dont drive the car in the winter and didnt mind the wait and boy it was worth the wait. What was amazing he did it all for the same estimate. You wont be disappointed. Thanks, Juan

everyone at portside collision amazed me with their attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly invaluable service. you usually never get all three of these qualities. they have fixed my work vehicles fast and well so i had no costly downtime. they have fixed myself and my families personal vehicles to a condition that was better than new. their work is an art, their quality is second to none youll see for yourself. When it comes to getting into an accident it doesnt have to be a stressful experience i just call portside and they have the vehicle traffic law and insurance knowledge to know exactly what to do. when my mothers brand new car was hit i told her to call portside and they handled the claim, car towing, repair, and delivery. thanks guys!

Terrific shop. They did some paintwork to fix the bubbling Ford paint on the hood of my 2012 Mustang GT. It’s an issue with the aluminum hoods on these cars. They also installed a lower fascia, front, side and rear splitters and an axle-back exhaust. They do high quality work for reasonable prices, and have fantastic customer service. Juan even discovered my rear GT500 spoiler was lose and fixed that. Something extra, at no charge. They also did some paint touch-ups on the whole car, then washed the car, vacuumed the interior, and put tire dressing on. Additionally, they gave me the bottle of touch up paint and a cool leather & metal key chain. Juan goes above and beyond. Highly recommended.

While traveling out of state on vacation on long island I was unfortunately involved in an accident. After speaking to several friends and family members who live locally multiple people recommended Portside Collision. Juan at portside made this experience as painless as possible. I was adamant with the repairs being done with new parts and Juan advocated on my behalf with my insurance company to ensure I would receive the repairs done the way I wanted them. This place is top notch! Good, honest, genuine, owner who will bend over backwards for his customers! Juan has worked on a couple of my cars and am beyond pleased with all the results, and thats not easy to do because Im extremely picky!! At Portside you will get top notch work, great pricing especially for the quality of work, and the best customer service you will find anywhere! Just fixed my 2016 Subaru WRX and looks brand new again despite me being a little skeptical that it could be done! Id give 10 stars if I could, simply because I know how hard it is to find a place like this and an owner like Juan.

I highly recommend using Portside Collision for any collision repairs. Juan and his staff were extremely professional and friendly. Juan went above and beyond and worked closely with the insurance companies and adjuster to ensure that all the repairs that needed to be made to my car were covered. This was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of time, money and hassle. And best yet my car now looks brand new! Had someone rear end my late model Lexus. $12,000.00 in damage. Met Juan the owner who assured me that he could make the car like new. I was concerned due to the amount of damage and the fact that the car is black. It took a few weeks to repair the car. The workmanship was outstanding and the paint color match was perfect. I am astounded at the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire staff. Ive had collision work done before but the quality of work at Portside is a whole new level of good. I used them more than once.. A company vehicle was rear ended on route 112 and was brought to Juan and his team to be repaired. they did a great job, couldnt tell the car was ever repaired. Juan had great communication and sent photos showing the updates as the repair was going on. Then my personal vehicle was damaged and I brought it to Portside. he took great care and I got the Jeep back quickly and in new condition. Juan and his team go above and beyond to make their customers happy and I highly recommend them to my friends and family.
