This is a fair review and not written in spite, just a concerned customer hoping for some change. Also, I am only talking about clove location. There is only one positive about this place, price is on par with other gyms and they have many machines. Now the bad. 1) For the fellas- rickety ass old machines that are all going to fall apart soon or get this place sued. When most of your equipment works "funny" or hasnt been updated since 1990 youve got no respect for your own gym. 2) For the ladies- Absolutely filthy facility. Ive never seen a dirtier gym for the last 25 yrs and Ive been going to gyms all over the country. anybody that says differently is full of it. If you visit you I promise you will see layers of grease, grime and off course staph infections waiting to happen. Most gyms have janitors or staff to clean. Not intoxic. Only one box of sani wipes that is away from main gym area. 3) Staff- Nice, yes. Friendly, yes. My only issue with these guys/gals is that they are lazy af. I have never seen them wipe down machines, clean or re-rack weights since I have been a member (3yrs). Instead they sit at the entrance and talk to each other or post passive aggressive notes saying " dont be slob, re-rack your weights". Please! Why do they pay you to sit and NEVER wipe equipment or re rack weights? 4) Lastly, If you are self conscious at all, the only scale they have is in front of all the gym for them gander at you. Dont trust me though, come by and see for yourself.

What a great gym, I used to be a member when it was Dolphins gym, After Rosario the GM gave me a weeks pass Im deciding to rejoin this gym. Every gym in the tri state area should be like this, friendly caring manager and also great customer service. They do take care of you, all the big sharks gyms just want you $ but by far I like this gym the best..They got their old member back after 8 plus years. And btw no one can, beat there excellence in making protein shakes... They also beat my gym in New Jersey know one can top this...Although I dont live in Staten Island , however I will join it anyway as I have family here and I need a gym anyway when I come and visit... This gym deserves beyond 5 stars in my professional opinion...

Today I had the most therapeutic massage ever at 2071 Clove Rd Staten Island, NY (Intoxx Gym) Before I tell you the masseurs name I have to say: Plenty of Parking Great Location Not awkward at all Better massage then a spa More than a fair price. Great conversation Youve heard of Big Ang. Well you must come meet Little Ang(Angelina). She doesnt go by little Ang but thats what Im going to call her. For a petite little thing she gave me the deepest deep tissue massage ever. Shes strong! Detailed! Went over the hour+++ Thanks for the bottle of water! Stefano L.

Ive been with this gym throughout its whole existence and can truly say that its the best in the area (I moved from Brooklyn, and think that this place would hold its own in that borough as well). Everything from the quality of equipment to the cleanliness and overall space/floor layout, makes it one of my favorites. The owner is on site and is engaged with the members suggestions and opinions. Staff is friendly and make pretty tasty protein shakes. The heavy bag upstairs suits my workouts perfectly and that is just scratching the surface.

I have never enjoyed going to gyms much, but after Intoxx has helped me change my mind by being a comfortable place, great equipment and a great staff (awesome instructors) that make you feel at home and help you accomplish your goals. The location and hours are very convenient and the price compaired to the other "chain" type fitness centers is a great value. Hands down, best gym on Staten Island. Ive tried LA, Retro, and Planet fitness and not one of them comes close. Intoxx, formely know as Dolphin fitness is a gym that you go to train and get in a great workout, its not a fashion show like LA Fitness, we have legimate weights unlike planet fitness and you dont get blinded by the McDonalds colors in retro. If your looking to seriously train, Intoxx on Staten Island is the place to go. Go sign up today with Rosario at Clove, a great manager who will take very good care of you.

The straw that broke the camel’s back was not the fact that soap boxes on the wall have been broken for about 6 months, but that they stopped leaving liquid soap bottles by the sink. Forget broken machines, disgusting dirt, lack of general maintenance and hygiene, rudeness from personnel etc... The rest is for you to judge... Pretty sure the only folks that come here, are like me, have no access to another gym within a reasonable driving distance.

Left NYSC to come here.. Love the Equipment here. Its really well built, not that cheap stuff you see in most gyms. The Owner really cares. I often see him walking around and taking notes. Hes very honest and sweet to the customers. Not sure what that other guy is talking about with the soap. Clearly hes upset over something. Give this Gym a try. I guarantee you will be more than satisfied!!!

This place has a awesome atmosphere great staff. Enjoy coming here taking classes. They have so many different style of classes like zumba, cycling, crossfit, yoga they even have massage on 3rd floor. Great facility feels like family when you come to workout. No judging. Oh and the juice bar is a plus. Please I recommend anyone to come to this place and become part of the family.

Been out of the military 9 months, been here ever since. Nothing compares to Intoxx in Grasmere. They know their stuff as far as recommending nutritional advice and creating an atmosphere of motivation and breeding a comfortable environment to reach all of your fitness goals. A membership worth every penny. Its a clean facility, well kept and well maintained.

Absolutely GREAT gym! Very CLEAN and FRIENDLY! They also get NEW equipment frequently, thats why I LOVE working out here :) Ive been working out here for about 4-5 years and I LOVE it! Their group fitness classes are EXCELLENT!! My personal favorite is Zumba, Yoga & Spin classes !!!! Highly recommend :)

Best Gym in the Area!! Just Moved to Staten Island and are so happy I found this place. By Far the best equipment around. I go here once a Day. Atmosphere is super friendly.. Everyone is really friendly and staff keeps the equipment really clean. Give this place a try!

Clean facility! Staff is great! Wide range of cardio and weight equipment! Intoxx is the only gym that I know off that sell protein shakes at an affordable price! Would def reccomend this gym to everyone I know!
