A few weeks ago, when the Mayor of New York City decided not to close the schools with tons of snow on the ground, my wife was driving down the thruway, hit one of the ruts in the road and slid off the road into the shoulder about 10 feet into a 3 foot pile of snow. She ripped the bumper cover off, bent both fenders, broke both headlights, and damaged all the brackets holding everything together. It was a ton of damage and a very scary initial estimate. 202 finished the job in 5 days, and the car now looks better than when we brought it in. They even polished the headlights so they didnt have that "old car" fog over them. The price was very reasonable, they stayed in touch to keep us up to date on the progress, and the reason for replacing every part was explained. I have a natural distrust of mechanics and body shops because Ive been burned so many times, but I would not hesitate to bring my truck or my wifes car here again should we ever need body work. They did a brilliant job, and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. If I ever need to recommend a body shop to someone, that decision is an easy one.

I had a horrible experience with 202 Collision Inc. I asked for touch up paint and they told me some nonsense about biodegradable packaging and the insurance will not allow it, then she mentioned if she had any extra she would give touch up paint. Then she said nope there was no touch up paint left. Then the co-owner stated sorry, she made a mistake, I asked her to make good on the mistake and she wouldnt, mentioning there was no leftover paint and she stated I dont owe you anything, who are you. Anytime Ive had an accident different body shops have always provided that. Also asked about a part and they mentioned I would have to go pick it up after I was told they would get whatever was needed. However, luckily they mentioned it didnt need it so I didnt have to worry. I signed over payment and asked for that to be changed and the insurance said they would honor the rate of the adjuster and send a check to me however, 202 Collision Inc. would not agree to the amount they wrote on the estimate. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!

If there were negative stars they would get them. Rude, kept my car hostage (so they could get another day of storage.) Would not tow my car where I wanted, only where he wanted. Expensive way beyond reason and takes only cash - you know why. Dont use them - horrible horrible horrible. Im filing a complaint with the Rockland County Consumer Affairs Department and the New York State Attorney General. People like this should not be allowed to be in business.

i took my car to rt. 202 collision after the paint on my honda accord started peeling. Darrell was great in showing me what needed to be done without pressuring me into anything. He gave me a great price and the job was done very quickly. The car now looks brand new! Rt. 202 collision is a quality shop that i would recommend to anybody. 5 stars!

Horribe stuff from this place... they keep your car longer than they should and then charge you extra thinking like they did a good job.. never again lesson well learned.
