I called this salon two weeks in advance to schedule two appointments for the day of my sons wedding. One was for myself and the other for my granddaughter, who was the flower girl. When we arrived I was told that the hairdresser, who was to style my granddaughters hair, had called in sick. My usual hairdresser was going to do both of us. I wrongly assumed that we would get the full time for two appointments. My granddaughter wanted her hair braided. I saw panic in the hairdressers eyes as she told me that she was not very good with braids. She took me first. She rushed through my styling, even though we had discussed what she would do the week before, when I came in to have my hair highlighted. She took the rest of the time, one appointments worth, to do my granddaughters hair. My granddaughters hair looked ok. The hairdresser was right, she was not good at doing braids. She looked as though she was performing some intricate surgery. Mine was flat without style. I didnt say anything at the time because it was getting late. Remember I had booked two appointments for the same time . What we received was one appointment for two stylings. If I had had the time I would have rewashed and styled it myself when I got home. I was so disappointed. I looked awful in the pictures.

Im tried 3 times to get an appt. here....they are not flexible in the least. All I wanted was a trim and was told I needed a longer appt. because it was my first time. Im not looking for an hour plus ordeal. I just want a hair cut! Very disappointing due to its convenience. When I called looking for an appt. for a blow out/curl I was told the only time available was 2:30 no later….seriously, are you that busy on a random Thursday afternoon to squeeze in a potential new client who could potentially bring some serious business. Your lose; I’m going across the street to Salon Expert where I was welcomed with open arms!

They have some smooth talkers in that salon. Some woman named Linda ( begins with L, anyway) did my hair and did a continual stream of compliments steering me toward a hairdo I really didnt want. When I got out minus 40 bucks I realized I had the same do as Linda. And it did not look good. I am not the first. A friend gave strict instructions and pictures about what she wanted, including an explanation of how her hair reacted to certain things. The hairdresser did everything the opposite of what she was told and botched the job, slathering my friends head with product rather than giving her a good cut.

$ 45 for a DRY CUT. Water did not touch my hair. Rip off to the full extent possible. No wash no blow. $50??? Give this a minus one star, as no one has gotten back to me to this day about my experience at this salon. Not at all happy here. These people dont get back to you when you leave messages, at least three, and the few times I went I was charged full price for a DRY CUT, with no blow out. Boo. Like to give one star for rude behavior n

I love this place! Ive been to both the Salon in Saint James and this one in Wading River. Theyre both great. Ive never had a stylist push me into anything and theyve always done a great job and made me look beautiful!

Love this salon. Treated like a queen. Fast service. Deana is super talented. Ive been on Long Island for over a year and this is the first salon that got my formula correct. Highly recommend.
