Beware if you are going to get any package through this post office. Today I found one of my package that has delivery confirmation, left on top of my mailbox across the street from our house. It was not even tied to the mail box, just sitting there, i.e. can fall off anytime. I check the tracking, it was supposed to have been delivered yesterday at 3:10pm. I dont know where the mailman put it, it was not out there at 6:42am when the school bus came. Last year, another package was supposed to be delivered didnt get here. I called the post office and it appeared the next day, opened. Two years ago, I found one package on the street where cars drove by. I lost 2 packages that had delivery confirmation and never got to our house. By the way, I worked at home 7am to 5pm. I have to say the counter people here are all very friendly and helpful. They are especially good at holding mail.

Package was sitting at the post office in the morning. My mail does not get delivered until 4PM. I make a special trip to the post office to wait on a line that isnt moving just to be told that they cannot go 20 feet away to check the bin that it is sitting in. You have to be kidding me, if I did this at my job I would not last a day. This happens all the time. They give you a delivery date but dont drop it off because it is too cold to get out of the truck. So at the end of the day they will just change the delivery date at the last minute to the next day and I have to wait again. Why do managers let there employees do business like this? Where is the customer service? If anything I saved them a trip. THANKS SO SO VERY LITTLE. CLOSE THEM DOWN WHAT GOOD ARE THEY ANYWAY!

I am not happy with this post office service. When ever i am expecting a package and I have a tracking number, the status states that it was delivered. I get home and its not there. I call the post office and they say, sometimes the carrier would mark it delivered as they are in route but yet the package never arrives until i have to go to the post office to get it. I aslo get a note on the tracking site, stating a notice was left at residence. No notices left. So again as i wait for another package today thats is on record that it was delivered., its not. So again I will be on the phone with the post office. I dont believe the carriers really care that people are waiting for there packages. It is sad.

I am running a business which takes internet purchases. My customers are constalty complaining about getting there packages super late. It is definintly not my end because I send them out through this post office same day they order every day. On tuesday we couldnt even get tracking on 30 packages that we sent out on monday. This is completely ridiculous. Not to mention the post office sends them out of state to two different states only to be delivered back in state to get to the customer. This is absolutely the worst post office I have ever dealt with

I went there to get a passport for my 11am appointment. I was 5 minutes late and they didnt cancel my appointment, apparently they would wait for at least 30 minutes before they cancel! I cant say that about most other places! Also when I got there a gentleman assisted me through the process and was really nice. Ive had to pick up mail there before and waited in line for like 30 minutes, but when it comes to passports it seems like theyre supportive and friendly. Would highly recommend you call, schedule an appointment, and get your passport there.

The carrier on my route in Wappingers Falls routinely leaves my mail out on top of the apartment mail boxes, including my bank statements and credit card bills, where anyone could just pick these up and walk off with them. He or she also refuses to walk down 7 stairs to leave a package at my door, instead leaving it at the top of the stairs right at the front door of the building, again, where anyone could pick it up and walk off with it. This seems to be the basic definition of, "I cant be bothered."

Ordered five things that were due and they only gave us two. They dont deliver mail when its due and are known to skip houses in general. Call to complain and they just let it ring for a good two minutes to just pick up for a second and hang up. Go and ask and they claim its out for delivery but you never get it. This is the fifth time this past two months they either skip your house or wont deliver mail.

Ugh the worst! The guy John at the desk there will have a line out the door and say "going to lunch" in front of everyone during rush hour what a joke! They deliver other peoples mail in my mailbox also. That staff place needs to be all forced to retire and start with some new blood there. Fishkill office is day and night you get greeted and they are fast and courteous.

There are usually only 1 or 2 people working there and they take FOREVER to help anyone. The line is usually out the door and then some. Spent about 45 minutes there one time with only 3 people in front of me. Only 1 person working and there was about 10 people behind me. The workers were too busy gossiping and joking around.

This location is the slowest moving post office. They dont even open until 10am and claim its because they have the self service machine WHICH IS ALWAYS DOWN. Beyond frustrating to have to drive to Poughkeepsie or Fishkill because they cant get it together here.

Visiting for buying postal stamps and sending a courier to Detroit. The service was OK. The representative was lazy, may be as it was early morning, but still she wanted me to complete the packing, made me purchase a roll of cello-tape too.

As a new resident in Dutches Cnty, I enjoy going to this PO. They are extremely friendly, welcoming and thorough. Perhaps one visit is longer than the other but I would not sacrifice useful parcel information for departing a minute later.

The staff have always been polite and courteous to me. They have no control over everyone showing up at once, everybody (including myself) had the same idea of coming as soon as they open. They do the best they can!

As of today, they are 0 for 3 in successfully delivering packages. It was always left on the truck or not put on the truck and I had to go in and have a 30-60 minute wait before I can leave with my package.

I use this post office frequently to mail business related packages. The staff are friendly and efficient. I even arrived at closing time one day and they were still open to help customers.

No matter what city, town, village, hamlet, municipality, township etc etc you go to the post office is always the finest at being the worst place of earth.
