The place is OK. The technician with the Long hair is really the only guy I would deal with here (I think his name is Chris) Both managers give you an attitude if you dont agree with a price, or if you need to come back to them to fix something they did not do correctly. When I went the first time, the guy with the long hair did some exhaust work for me, and did a fine job. I came back at a later date because my flexpipe was torn and I needed it replaced. A different technician welded it, and it came out plain awful and leaked like hell. I also asked them to weld two pipes with a 90 degree bend to the rear of the muffler, and asked for mandrel bends and 2 3/4" piping. When I came to pick up the car they were crush bent and had 2" piping. On both occasions they gave me attitude (mostly the manager). Plain and simple, I would not go back to meineke, or any meineke for that matter. Their prices arent that much cheaper than other places. for exhasut work, I would rather go to a true shop than this muffler joint. I only recommend this palce if you can get the good technician. I have also viewed the way they treat some vehicles and it plain made me uneasy.

Id sworn off this Meineke, precisely because the owner is obnoxious. His knowledge of cars is questionable. The only reason I went back was because the tv advert offered an oil change for 14.95. I drive a hybrid car and have read the manual which states that 5w30 is the oil I should use and that oil changes should be made every 5K. I know in the old days oil needed to be changed every 3K, but newer cars, at least this hybrid does not need such frequent changes. The owner of this Meineke keeps ridiculing me for not using synthetic oil (which I know is an option, but prefer not to use) and tells me Im making a big mistake. He also thinks the car needs a special type of gas blend, when it only needs unleaded. I vowed today, that this is the last time I put up with his impertinence. Fortunately, I discovered this afternoon that there is another Meineke I can drive to that is no further away and has some great reviews.

I drive a Honda. Unlike other service centers that Ive visited in the past, including Hondas own, they never try to upsell me here for parts that I dont need. Theyre always clear about what is required and how urgent it is. I appreciate that. Ive been coming here for 4 years now, and my car is still doing well. I must note that I cant speak for speed of service, because I live a short walk away and always leave my car here and come back to retrieve it later.

Told by dealership that the muffler on my Lexus 460 was leaking- took it to Meineke in White Plains and told Tom my muffler needed repair. Tom advised that no repair was necessary and simply cleaned the catalytic converter. In 55 years of car ownership I never had a repair shop talk me out of a repair. White Plains Meineke is an honest organization that I will be looking forward to relying upon in the future.

Just had my muffler and exhaust pipes replaced. Quick, courteous, and professional. When I questioned owner about the price, he actually showed me the parts that needed to be replaced on my car, but still worked with me. Got a chance to talk to the owner while car was being worked on. Hes a good guy. I would trust this shop for my car again in the future.

Used an improper oil plug. Which stripped the treads, and broke my oil pan ($400 dollars). Always changed with dealership never had a problem, but there wasnt one close by. Even if you save $20 bucks on your oil change. Not worth it.

These guys take care of you. I have come to them for quick fixes twice and they show and tell me whats going on with my car and what will likely happen next. Highly recommended.
