Are you a curly girl? I am and I have been frustrated with my hair forever, that is until I found Philip at Static Salon. Not only is this salon awesome, Philip is the only hair stylist I have ever found in my 30 years on this planet that knows what to do and can handle my massive amount of curly and frizzy hair. Philip knows exactly how to cut it so whether I wear it curly/wavy or blow it out it falls perfectly. This man also knows how to blow out hair like no other. I swear he must have a PhD in blow outs! Philip also recommends products that will help you with your hair, not just push products on you because they are there. He will tell you exactly how to care for your hair and what you can do to keep it in the best condition possible. That is why when Philip recommended the Keratin Treatment at Static I went for it and I couldnt be happier. He did a great job and Im 4 months in and it still looks great. I highly recommend this treatment for anyone that struggles with frizz. It will be the best $$ and time you have ever spent. But beyond making you look gorgeous Philip and the whole Static Staff always makes you feel gorgeous and good about yourself. I highly recommend this salon. Sometimes you just need to feel like a princess even if its only for a few hours :)

So Philip was my hairstylist for a couple of years and he was the VERY BEST stylist Ive ever had. I worked in Manhattan and never had I come across a hairdressed half as talented a Philip. My hair is sacred and I cannot give Philip enough praise for his talent and techniques. He knew exactly how to cut my thick hair and thin it out without making it look like a zig zig rag. He is a great listener so I always got the cut I wanted, even when he added his savoir-faire to create the style I would show him on photos. He gave me the best layers and even when I didnt want the layering look, Philip managed to cut my hair so it felt light but still looked straight at the bottom. No one has ever been able to duplicate that technique. Ever. THEN I moved to France and Ive already gotten 3 bad haircuts. They thinned out my hair and turned it into an abstract staircase that makes NO sense. My advice is: dont take Philip for granted New Yorkers. RUN to Static Hair in White Plains and get the hair youve always dreamt of before he gets hired by a Hollywood a-lister. Seriously, Lyna.

I am very disappointed. This salon is very over-priced. They started charging me for all types of things I didnt ask for. They didnt give me anywhere close to the haircut I showed them and didnt even bother to cut my bangs. To top it off they made me blow - dry my own hair ( Ive never seen that before at a salon in my life) and when I asked the girl to help me she said she doesnt blow-dry she does color and just blow - dryed one section and left. The only thing I was pleased with was the man who finished blow drying my hair , I dont know his name but he was very talented. I wouldve been ok with the 350 dollar price if I wouldve atleast gotten what I wanted - I didnt even get close to what I wanted. Not happy at all. I will not be coming back to static.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Static. Extremely professional staff. From the moment you walk in till to leave you are treated like royalty. I have been going to Static for over 8 years and I would never go anywhere else. Matthew, one of the owners is truly amazing. Duane at the front desk is so accommodating. Elizabeth is truly the most amazing stylist. I have been getting great lengths extensions with her for 8 years and I am never disappointed. Prior to static, I would go to warren Tricomi and Kim Vo. Neither one could compare to Static and their professionalism. Elizabeth is the most amazing stylist out there. Highly recommend getting extensions done by her. You will never go anywhere else.......

I give a 3 because the sink is crazy I woke up with a cold and sore throat this morning the temperature went from hot to cold and back and we all know that is the number 1 part of the experience I know Im sick from the sink I didnt like my hair at first but they fixed it and Im happy with it now still not what I wanted 100% but this is also the most Ive ever paid to get my hair plus tip almost 500 bucks! Its usually 3-350 for all the issues there were it was way too expensive and not worth an extra 200$ they charged me 300 bucks for ombré and gave me streaks and call it ombré because its off the root the place is nice the people are nice but I wouldnt go back

Static Hair Salon is definitely a place I will be scheduling my next hair appointment. Walking in, the style and vibe of the salon is relaxed, modern, and open. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and tries to make your time there personal. All of the employees made conversation with me and I felt very welcome. My stylist, Phillip, was amazing, keeping me talking the whole time and always asking if I liked what he was doing. He recreated the picture I showed him of both my haircut and hairstyle perfectly, and I left 100% satisfied and happy. Overall, this salon is worth every penny you you play for it and you will definitely want to come here again.

I found Static on the web and decided to give it a try after having a few disasters other places. From the moment I called, to the moment I left, the service was flawless. Very friendly, organized, great communication between the staff, and a fantastic color and cut by Patrick. I loved his honesty and his vision for what could be done short and longer term with my hair. So far, a week in to my hair cut, it looks great blown or not....just walk out of the shower and it is still beautiful. I will definitely go back. Other pluses to mention is the convenient parking in the back, super clean facility and a great Turkish restaurant down the street : )

This was my first time at Static Salon but it wont be my last. I was uncertain about what I wanted in a new style and am challenged in the blow-drying department, so I was nervous about the outcome. Phillip took time to view pictures that I had brought, asked what I liked about each, and managed to create a style that incorporated those ideas into a beautiful new style. Although I dont have Phillips talent for blow outs, I have been able to create styles that are varied and that I like. All of the staff members at Static were pleasant and professional and I enjoyed my experience. Thanks to all, especially Phillip.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Static and all the people who work there. Everything is impeccable and top notch from the decor to the services rendered. Ive been working with Philip for the past three years and he is magical with his scissors! He listens to exactly what you want and then gives suggestions based on his expertise. He is never pushy or dismissive, and hes always right about what will look best. Additionally, he is hilarious! Ive recommended Static to several friends who have now become permanent clients. I may have introduced them, but Static has kept them. Highly, highly recommend.
