Let me start by saying I lovvvve the Cheesecake Factory, but most of the time I go to the White Plains restaurant. I always have a pleasant experience and was expecting the same in the Yonkers restaurant. Went to the Cheesecake Factory in Yonkers last night and will never step into that place again!! It was such a horrible experience! Supposedly it was a 40 min wait. So we decided to sit at the bar and have a drink and appetizer while we waited. I ordered a cosmopolitan that tasted very weak and watery. I decided I would just let it go, drink it and order something else after. I also ordered the crispy crab wontons and when the bartender brought them over the bottoms were soggy with sauce bc he had spilled it all over the plate! I mean they were good just rather have crispy wontons than soggy ones. Also just let it go and didnt say anything bc we were so hungry we didnt want to wait any longer for another order. So what was supposed to be a 40 min wait turned into 1 hour and 15 mins!! Oh it didnt stop there! Once seated we ordered our dinner dishes immediately bc we had enough time to stare at the menu while at the bar. This time I ordered wine bc how can anyone really mess that up?! So we sat with our wine and bread for about 40 mins with no dinner. Right when I was going to ask a passing server about our food, the manager approached apologizing that it was taking so long that they had messed up one of the orders 2x!! Really?! She was very nice about the situation and even offered to comp cheesecake for us. When the food finally comes my dish is lukewarm like it was sitting around while the other dish was being cooked 3x. They claimed it was made fresh which wasnt and issue. I just wanted hot food! I told them it was not very hot, they took it to the kitchen and brought it back very quickly, too quickly. My dish came back rearranged on the plate, but still the same lukewarm food. I gave up and just ate a little of it. Took the leftovers home so I could actually try what it tastes like hot today. The manager was very accommodating and understanding as she ended up comping the cheesecake and my cold dish. I cant say the same for our server. I dont know if he just didnt want to be there or didnt want to handle the situation we were dealing with, but I would say he offered poor service. He seemed very short, just dropped things off in passing without saying anything and just came off as cold and he couldnt be bothered. This wasnt even the end of my bad experience. It continues! I go the bathroom before leaving and 2 out of the 3 toilets are clogged with urine and so much toilet paper that they were unusable not to mention disgusting to look at. My bad experience could be chalked up to it was really busy and they were overwhelmed, but there were too many things that ruined our time there. I wouldnt want to chance things would be the same on my next visit. I definitely wont be returning to the Yonkers location although its less than 10 mins from my house. I will go out of my way to drive up to White Plains and even willing to pay the toll and go to the Palisades Mall location.

Several family members were in town visiting for the weekend so I decided to bring them here for a nice dinner. Upon arrival the Hostess greeted us with a smile and told us the wait would be about an hour for our party of 10. No problem. In the mean time we went to the bar to kill some time. We ended up getting a temporary table there. After about 50 minutes we got buzzed. Everyone rushed to finish their drinks, paid their tab and left the tables. When we approached the hostess, she informed us that she hit out button by mistake. And that it would be several more minutes. Ok, no problem. When we went back to our seats, they were already taken. So we had to stand up until we were called again, which would have been ok if we werent already sitting. 20 MINUTES LATER we were called for a total of an hour and ten minutes. After approaching the hostess again she said the wait will be an additional 5 minutes. I was beginning to get upset at the musical chair situation going on and so I asked to speak with the manager. When James asked me what the situation was I explained to him and with a roll of his eye he told me they had to verify that the whole party was there. At witch point I asked him if they were going to actually do that since I didnt appear with them this time. He said no I trust you. WTH! I then reiterated to him how ridiculous and unprofessional this whole set up is. He then began to to explain to me in an elevated tone that "they called me in 55 minutes, which is 5 minutes before the agreed waiting time and the additional minutes were to verify the status of the party" Umm, no. We were there for almost an hour and a half. He then said "well, it is what it is" and left mid conversation. What kind of manager is this. After being seated by Paul, which by the way was a great waiter he apologized for the long wait (Refreshing). He promptly brought us some bread and butter and got our orders in. Drinks were brought out quickly. The food did however take about another half hour to come out (obviously the kitchens fault). The food was great and the price reasonable. Although a party of 2 would be accommodated faster I.... based on the service and the people that I know work there probably wouldnt go back. P.S. heres a bonus... When I went to get my parking stub validated. The hostess stated that their validation only lasts an HOUR and there was nothing she could do about that. How is that supposed to function properly when I waited an hour and a half just to get seated. Totally disappointed in my experience here. To the General manager Andre Shu (which I was told is his name by the hostess) I would address these concerns and those of many other reviewers sooner rather then later. Before people start realizing that they can get a better meal down the road and just stop by for a slice of cheesecake to go and skip all the attitude and mishaps that your establishment has to offer.

I had dinner at this location with my Sister and 2 friends this evening. I walked in with a great attitude and walked out very disillusioned of this restaurant. First, there we had to wait 5 mins for a waiter to approach us. Then, we received our drinks. Once we placed our order for an app, it took 20 mins to receive it. my friend asked for a refill on her water, and he returned with warm water from the tap, with no ice. We waited an additional 30 mins and still no entree. Im assuming the gentleman that approached us was a manager, and told apologized for the wait that the food should be out shortly. The waiter didnt even have the courtesy to advise us himself. I told the manager that we should get a free cheesecake out of it. He said Sure. Not evening volunteering it himself when we have been waiting already 45 mins at this point for food. No Discounts, comps, nothing. We suggested it. I have no problems with the Manager, as he atleast came and told us about our food. 15 mins later, our food came, and the server didnt even apologize about the wait. He left and returned 15 mins later asking how the food was. Not asking if we needed anything or refills. It was at that point that I have had to yell for him 3 times to get his attention for a refill. At that point, we ate our food and I asked for the Check. Then it took 15 mins to RECEIVE THE CHECK! I advise the waiter, when I requested the Check that the manager said we could have a free cheesecake. He looked at me unbelievingly. Im sure he went to check with the manager, but he returned to the table across from us, with their drinks and food. Then he tended the table behind us with their questions. STILL not receiving the check. Once we received it, I had turned on my timer on my phone. Once he saw I turned on my timer, He brought the check with the cheesecake and for the FIRST time, apologized for the delay..... WORST experience at a restaurant in my LIFE.
