This facility is run by people with a ton of skill and know-how and an equal amount of heart and caring. They are consistently patient and encouraging with the kids, and incredibly creative and fun too. We started out by bringing our child to the weekend drop-off fun nights (so convenient and affordable) and I waited until my daughter was ready to try classes. She was shy and hesitant, but by the end of class #1 was totally into it! Now she spends every spare minute doing cartwheels, headstands or kick-overs. As a former kid gymnast myself, I wanted to be sure that if and when my kid wanted to give it a try I could entrust her to people who are both sensitive to and patient with kids, and smart and consistent in how they sequentially and creatively teach gymnastics.I am so glad to have found these qualities and more at Asheville Community Movement. I highly recommend them.

Mama Bonzai

This place is awesome. It isnt as crowded as the Gym downtown. I brought my child here for a morning play for toddlers. it was only a few bucks for an hour. She had so much fun playing with a little boy who had just dismissed from class, and I even made a friend. It seemed a little overwhelmingly large for a gym when I first arrived, but my kid used the whole space; riding plasma scooters, rolling palls, jumping in balls, balancing, rebounding, and such. The staff is friendly, and I am looking into classes for my other children now. ...and the train went by which was so impressionable for my daughter. She refers to this place as "Nastics with a train" lol!

Our daughter started gymnastics here a few months ago and absolutely loves it. The coaches are kind to the kids but they do work them. We found this place via their kids night out on weekends which are really well run. Now our kids are pushing for us to take more date nights.
