.My last salon experience was with Tuesdae at Eclipse salon, and i had an absolutely amazing experience. I really felt like what i wanted was clearly understood, and the things i was unsure of, Tuesdae was able to translate into the style. Both my color and cut were edgy and modern, and executed perfectly, which is not easy because i have difficult hair to work with. Other stylists at other salons have tried and failed miserably. All the products used on me were really clearly explained so i could re-create the look on my own. On top of all that, Tuesdae was so much fun, with an awesome personal style and really professional and warm attitude that made me feel at ease immediately. All in all, i was delighted with my experience and will definitely rebook with Tuesdae again in the near future. I strongly suggest anyone else wanting a great hair experience book an appointment with Tuesdae ASAP!

I got the worst haircut of my life the other day by Kaci. I was rushed and then shooed out of there even though it was obvious I was unhappy with my hair. I figured I would be nice and give it until I got home to see how I liked it. It looked like a bowl cut, so says my sister and husband. I called to have it fixed and the receptionist first told me I could have the owner fix it for free. Then all of a sudden the receptionist became condescending and told me that if I want it cut by someone else (because Kaci rushed me and did a horrible job so I no longer trusted her) that it would cost me another 50 dollars. I have never been treated like that by a high end salon. It was disgusting and I will never step foot in there again. Beware that if you receive a horrible cut, you will be treated as though it were your fault and cost you more money.

I have been going to Eclipse for years, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. In my time going, every single staff member and stylist I have encountered has been wonderful, respectful and friendly, and I have never felt hurried or rushed. I go to Jen, and not only are her haircuts amazing, but she makes the experience feel very fun and relaxing. I have a lot of friends who have gone to Casi as well, and they all love her; I have never seen her do a bad haircut. If you want a great experience and a high end haircut, go to Eclipse!

Tuesdae at Eclipse Salon is the best hairdresser I have ever worked with. Not only is the salon beautiful and comfortable and located in a beautiful part of downtown Asheville, the staff is also friendly. Tuesdae however is a hair and makeup genius. He takes his time with you, asks your opinion about things and has an incredible eye for what will complement your individual face shape and style. I trust Tuesdaes judgment about my look even more than my own. I feel better about my hair than I have in my entire life. Dont go anywhere else.

5.0 star rating 6/18/2015 No wonder Carlton has such great reviews. Every time I go to him, he gives me a perfect color and cut and exactly what I asked for. His personality is easy going so it is always a comfortable experience (even for someone I like me with social anxiety disorder). Yes, his scalp massage during the conditioning makes you melt. In my opinion, he is the best in Asheville and Ive lived here 15 years and visited lots of the most successful salons in town.

Jen was simply splendid. I felt like she listened to me about past cuts and she took my severe hairline in stride. She has a good sense of humor and a smart hair cut... Because lets face it, we all feel like we are in much more capable hands if our stylist has some good hair as well. The venue was crisp yet cozy and the receptionist was extremely welcoming. Thank you to Jen for my funky fresh cut!! This pixie cannot thank you enough :)

Loved my shampoo, head and neck massage, (bliss) cut and blow dry by Casi. I told her I was sensitive to odors and she let me smell every product before she applied it. Although my hair is very curly, I wanted it styled straight with a slight under curve at the ends. She listened and gave me what I wanted. I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time. Looks great. Convenient to downtown parking and shopping before or after appointment.

Despite what someone else commented, I have always had the best experience with Casi and Eclipse! I have been going to Casi for years now and have never had one bad experience. In fact I get more compliments on my hair now than I ever have. I have also recommended many of my friends to her as well, and they all love Eclipse and Casi as much as I do. So if your looking for a place to get your hair done in Asheville, go to Eclipse!

Frankie listens to what I want, makes suggestions when I ask for it, and ultimately gives a great haircut every time. Ive been going to her for several years and couldnt conceive of going to anyone else. Shes personable, has a knowledge of both contemporary and traditional hairstyles, and very good at what she does. She has limited availability so you must make your appointment well in advance, but its worth the wait!

i cant say enough good things about eclipse. its chic but not snobby. great artwork, very clean salon, the staff are friendly and accommodating. i went to Rose and i am so happy i found her. she has cut my hair twice now and i love it. shes truly an artist who really takes her time and listens to what you want. my hair looks amazing and i wont go anywhere else!

From the moment of being greeted by Loni, the receptionist, to the end of a relaxing hair cut, the experience at Eclipse is perfect! KC and Jen are wonderful stylists! I love the downtown location and the ever changing artwork on the wall of the salon. I highly recommend Eclipse.

Wow the owner - Jen-, who is also a works there, is wonderful. She did a great job on my hair. The location is great and the entire staff is very professional. I would recommend without hesitation. My hair looks better than I it has at any other time. I couldnt be happier.

My favorite salon. Great cuts and color. The staff is friendly and professional. This a small salon in the midst of unique Asheville stores and restuarants. Street side parking is an issue. There is a parking garage one block away. Very near the Grove Arcade.

Sara Jane took the time to listen to what I wanted and creatively executed the best cut and color I have ever gotten. She was able to give me a look that is edgy and pretty. The salon is beautiful and cozy with really interesting art. Ill be back!!!
