I just recently bought a 2014 car so I have been looking for a place to go to have regular maintenance. Im a pretty loyal customer so I wanted to make sure I trusted the business I chose to do business with. BIG MISTAKE COMING HERE! When I walked in, the older gentleman was nice. I told him that I needed an oil change and he said he would check the cost. I then made the mistake of telling him I had a 50% off coupon before he stated the price. I could tell by his reaction that he was not happy about the coupon. He then made a call regarding oil (my car takes a synthetic blend). After typing a few things into the computer, he told me my oil change would be close to $100! I was floored! Especially knowing that I could go to the dealership and get it done for half that! I asked why it would cost so much and he tried to make it seem as if the parts and oil were extremely expensive (after checking online, I found that I could get the parts and oil listed in my cars manual from a local auto store for under $30) and I guess that was the only option available because I wasnt offered any other packages. Im not sure if it was because Im a woman or if he didnt want to perform the service for a discount price or if they just have ridiculously high prices. Whatever it was, I will never return to Meineke.

They get NO stars from me. I'm Jessica J. I went to the Meineke on south blvd and tyvola for a routine oil change on Jan. 18th. I notices a rattling noice coming from under my hood on April 7. Me and one of my male friends opened the hood and noticed a tool still left in my car. In addition, the oil was completely gone, the dipstick was done dry. Which caused damaged to my engine over time. Once we put more oil in the car and left it sitting for multiple hours the engine was still making that noise. I had to call AAA to tow my car, in which I should of just went to them all together because now my car isn't drivable, leaving me to have to buy a new car. Meineke has refused to take responsibility for these events as well as the tool being left. Seeing that their shop isn't clean should of gave me the incentive to turn away. I have pictures of the tool under my hood as well as a witness to verify these events. Since Meineke isn't doing anything about this, I am. This is on many social sites as well as BBB and I will continue to post this until something gets resolved.

**DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR MAJOR REPAIRS** I was a recent college graduate with no job, hoping to repair my car for upcoming interviews. I took my car here for repairs and it was a HUGE mistake. I put almost $1500, in repairs within a three month period of time. Before I left the parking lot during my last visit, I realized something was wrong with my brakes, my brake light was permanently on and didnt work. I went back in immediately to bring it to the assistant managers attention. Him as well as the mechanic defensively denied having anything to do with the brake problem. I was told that I needed to wait for the owner of this specific location to return from his vacation in order to come to a possible solution. Once he returned I contacted the store to speak to the owner and he denied having anything to do with the damages. I have NEVER been treated this way by any company. Because of this experience I will only take my car to the Dealership for repairs going forward.

Had a good experience with an oil change. So when My 2006 Avalon was acting up I trusted them and headed there. Scan said I needed new plugs and coils. I am the type to do a lot of research for big ticket items but in this case I was afraid I would break down without the fix. But it was quoted at $1400.00!! Didnt know what else to do....I said go for it. The fix was done well but after the fix I did my research. I was charged $150 for each coil! $150 x 6...$900!!! A set of 6 costs about $120 online!! I was overcharged nearly $800 on just the parts!!!!!! They also charged be $19 for each new spark plug and $288 for labor. They really screwed me bad. Turns out I could have probably gotten away with changing just one coil, an easy job by myself, for less than $100!!!! A very expensive lesson learned. Oil change? sure. Anything else? BEWARE!

*UPDATE* I received a phone call from Kevin at Meineke apologizing for the problem with previous service and offering a free oil change to make up for my previously poor experience. Great customer service goes a very long way with me and it speaks volumes about this location that they went out of their way to change my mind about this place! Thank you Kevin! Im happy to bring my business back to your store now! I was told they couldnt do an oil change on my car here because the plug was stripped... I took it to another place and they didnt even mention it and changed my oil no problem. I think the real story is that they were busy and didnt want to be bothered to do an oil change... they were nice, but Im disappointed that they didnt seem to be honest about what the "couldnt" do...

I have been taking my Prius here for years for oil changes. They are always very fast and super friendly! I went yesterday to get another car inspected but it needed a new headlight bulb first. The car manufacturer built the headlights so that you had to completely remove the bumper in order to change out the light bulb. This was a bit pricey at Meineke since its outside their normal scope...not only did Kevin recommend another place to go, he even called for me and got a quote! Impeccable customer service!!! I will continue to go to this Meineke for all my car needs, they really know how to treat their customers.

I got my 08 optima serviced here today and needed my tire rod replaced. I literally visted 4 other places before finding meineke and all of then charged me 50-90 bucks just to look at my car and tell me what all needed to be fixed. That is freakin rediculous!! When i went to meineke they greeted me as soon as i walked in the door i told them about the problems i was having and they drove and inspected it for free so i automatically knew whatever was wrong with my car was getting fixed at this place.i have found my new place to go for car issues. The staff was friendly and they had quick service thanks meineke!

I LOVE this place! As a twenty-something female, I have found it very hard to not feel harassed, talked down to and/or taken advantage of every time I visit an auto repair shop... but not here. I have been a customer for over two years and have experienced nothing but consistent, thorough, friendly and HONEST interactions. I 100% trust these folks with my car and recommend them to anyone who will listen. I used to dread going to the mechanics, but now I genuinely enjoy oil changes, repairs, etc. because I know that I can trust "my guys". (TIP: if you give them your email address, every 5th oil change is free!)
