November 2014: Misquoted tire prices due to miscalculating my actual tire size. Had to pay extra. They did offer a free alignment, but never fixed my cars right pull. Forgot to rotate my wifes tires, then lied about it. Quoted over a thousand dollars worth of work on my wifes vehicle, and took it to another garage and had it fixed for around $250.00. Feb 15: Brought in for oil change and rotation. I also asked for rim to be check to see if warped. They forgot to check to see if my rim was warped. They took my car back, did something, then another mechanic handed me my keys and told me to have a good day. No one indicated what happened, if they found any problems, nothing. Just another guy hurrying me out the door. No customer service from the front desk. The front desk said amongst themselves how bad they had to go to the bathroom (TMI). Incredibly unprofessional, unhelpful, and poor service from the front desk to the mechanics. I still have no idea if my rim is warped, and my car is still vibrating. After an alignment, my car still isnt driving correctly. Please stay away from this location. My wife and I will never be back.

I bought tires on TireRack and brought them to this location for installation and alignment. The location is convenient, but unfortunately the quality of work wasnt good. First, they broke one of the TPMS sensors and either didnt notice or ignored the warning on the dash. When I took the car back up there, they did offer to replace it, but had no way to program a Toyota sensor. To his credit, the service manager said I could have Toyota program it and Firestone would reimburse, but he seemed offended when I asked him to put it in writing (which he finally did after a snarky comment). Ultimately I just had it repaired elsewhere and never returned for the reimbursement. Second, while doing the alignment, they didnt have the steering wheel centered, so I noticed a couple of weeks later that while driving straight, the wheel is off-center. I was later told by another shop that the alignment needs to be redone to correct this. I did not return to Firestone to have them redo it. I think they probably would have corrected it, but it shouldnt have been wrong in the first place.

I confess that I am completely ignorant about auto maintenance, and, as the stereotypical auto repair shop does, Firestone of Arboretum completely took advantage of the fact. The customer service person told me that it was not only imperative that I get an alignment with my tires, but gave me the impression that it was dangerous if I did not get this extra, very expensive, service. Of course, after talking to another service professional, I found out that this was complete falsehood. When I called the manager the next day, he was completely unwilling to even hear my complaint, though I was being more than nice (almost too polite). He became even argumentative over the phone with me and I could barely get a breath in even if I wanted to. I suppose this Firestone is not that troubled over their quality of customer service.

On the plus side theyre very convenient to my house only 3 miles away. Good price on oil changes and I always take advantage of their lifetime alignment deal. Theyve helped me out with emergencies a time or two. So, I give them that. On the downside when they rotate tires they ALWAYS forget to check/adjust the pressure. My full-size van has LT (light truck) tires that takes 60 psi in the front and 80 psi in the rear. At my last appt they wrote 35 psi on the service form. I firmly told the check-out guy what psi my van takes and that its noted on the door jam sticker. I pull it around to bay 3 and he checks the sticker. He then bleeds the front tires down to 60 and fills the rear ones to 80.

Tonight I went to move my car and the battery was clearly dead. My neighbor gave my battery a jump and suggested my 2009 battery probably needed replacing. It was 5:30. I called the Arboretum store, they said if I could get there by 6, it would be no problem. I arrived at 6:10 (rush hour)! They were extremely busy, but when I got to the front of the line, the very friendly receptionist asked "battery change?" and got me right in. The tech came out and let me know my inspection was due 1.5 months ago . . . ugh . . . but said he could do it. So grateful, much rather hear it from him with a smile and not being pulled over and getting a ticket! They were quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

I went in to get an alignment because I felt a woble and noticed some tire wear. The mechanic "John" was awesome he told me that if I was ever gonna get an alignment again I should get the lifetime alignment package. So i did it was about twice as much as a normal alignment. Now I Ive had this package on 2 cars (transfered) and have had like 13 alignments since then (8 years ago) and never had to pay a dime after the first one. Johns work was super fast and he let me know of any potential future problems that I might run into and the options I have. Maybe I shouldnt tell them about all this free service Ive been getting before I get charged! I guess Egg on my Face!

We took our car to Arboretum Firestone Auto Care to replace an alternator, two days later my husband was stranded on the road again. Turned out the alternator they put in was bad, so we had to return the car to the shop once again. When we picked up the car, on our way home we noticed that the AC was not working. Took the car back and we were told the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced .... another $1500. We had a family member look at it and he discovered a wire that they cut. Whether negligence or intentional - needless to say we are done doing business with them. Beware!!! AC has been running perfectly since.

The check engine light came on for no reason. All I wanted was to diagnose the check engine light so I stopped by two other Auto Care stores but they gave me some phony reason of why they couldnt diagnose it. I stopped by this Firestone and an employee named Daniel (didnt get his last name) was extremely helpful. I had to wait a little for my turn to diagnose which is to be expected but his tone and the level of helpfulness in explaining the issue showed that he really cared. The car is currently under warranty but I have no qualms about coming here again and neither should anyone else. And Daniel should get a raise.

Great service bar none. Left with exactly what I wanted with no hassle at all. If theyre saying you need something its out if concern for your well being. If they inspect your car (which Im pretty sure is done at every service) and find something wrong they tell you it needs replaced. If theres no sense of urgency, the customer will think nothing of it. I appreciate their concern, and its sadly misconstrued with being pushy sometimes. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle here...theyll help you with anything you need.
