Bought a 2014 chevy silverado had a vibration in it. They said bring it back in the next day after I purchased it and they would take care of it. After weeks of run around telling my wife it was the balance in the tires sent her home with no fix. Finally they put new tires on it after i complained issue was still there. That did not correct issue and returned it again to me. Knowing issue was still there. From purchase date of Nov 2 2016 till first week of March this year I had the truck a total of 8 days. What they failed to inform me was the truck had been altered with a front end lift and other different suspension parts. So they were at the mercy of Gm using corporate money to fix a truck they should of had to flip the bill for. Altered truck voids warranty. So instead of being able to call an engineer from gm in the had to beat around the bush with them. After now a brand new drive shaft wasnt the issue either. Rear mounting hub to rear end not the issue finally a new rear end after 2 months the third time they had it problem corrected. I pull a trailer for work and compensated for that in that time I lost over 3,000.00 they did give me a loaner the whole wasnt allowed to tow with it per great lakes. Yesterday my check engine light comes on called them they said my 3 year 36k warranty expired 2 days ago on the 28th of March. Im under the 36k on milage. I made 3 payments on the truck had it 8 days . Very poor pr their I couldnt send my wife to take care of it they would teller her anything and send her on her way. I have had dealings with everyone from the salesman to the owner himself. The only person i have a ounce of respect for is my salesman.

Let me start by saying, nobody is perfect, that is why they did not get 5 stars. Having said that, I never would have gone to this dealership had one of my good friends not worked there. If you are looking for a used or leased vehicle, please do yourself a favor and go to Great Lakes and see a gentleman by the name of Will. Will is the type of dealer that you as a consumer WANT to talk to. Someone that legitimately cares, is real and will not push you into something to just make a sale. I went up there to lease, and through a series of miscommunications, was let down. It was then, that the GM stood up and tried to make right by having me called with three, very generous deals that would fit our monthly payment budget. It was quite unexpected, but nice to see somone recognize that they were not perfect, and to try and make it right. Not your average qualities to an upper managment role. The GM even personally came out to me, and thanked me for letting them make it up to me. Very cool. Will got me not in the car I originally wanted, but the car I am very happy I ended up with. It has all the qualities that fit into my lifestyle, and some that I didnt even know I needed. I am quite pleased with Great Lakes and definitley you should give their staff a chance WOW you. So what did we learn today? Great Lakes Chevrolet is the bomb. Will Hale loves to kiss babies and will help you get into the car that fits YOU and your lifestyle. Nobody is perfect, but it is how you acknowledge those imperfections and move forward that counts!

my parents and i always goes to ron butcher he set me up with my first car 05 hyundai accent. then a year later was able to get me into my 06 jeep liberty. =] all on my own. helped me through everything with buying my first car. everyone here is very nice helpful. all around a great place to get a car. on aug 18 2012 i went here it was great. very helpful. great all around. i got my tires done. first time getting tires had no idea what i was doin lol. great price. better then anybody i went to. i trust them to work on my car at anytime. i didnt even make a appointment and they fit me in and got it done the same day. let me use a car to drive home called me when it was done. alot better then waiting. i will be doing all my service there.

One of the smoothest car purchases I have ever experienced...My wife and I were looking for a specific pre-owned model. Great Lakes didnt have a match in stock but I spoke with Todd Mullen and he promised to keep an eye out for the perfect car for our growing family. After getting the runaround at several local dealerships in Columbus, I received a call from Todd saying he had a car that he wanted me to see. The car was perfect and the price was more competitive than other options we were looking at. If you want to be treated well and receive a fair deal I would definitely recommend considering this dealership.

I worked with John Rocco ,a finer sales rep you could not fine, He listened to my financial situation and where I, was on the path of life with 3 collage tuition and a private elementary school tuition. Understanding and foresight is the key to success and John was there to lead the way offering us options which I had not considered.I now have the security of being in a brand new car ,a green Chevy Spark which I love!Over 700 miles the first week!! I drove an hour and 40 minutes to see the Avalanche that I found during my search. I worked with Ron Butcher and he was great to work with, he stayed late since I drove a little way to get there and then the next day worked hard to get the deal done and kept me up to date the whole time. Once deal was ready he had all paper work ready to go for an easy delivery of my new truck! The finance manager was great to work with as well making all paper work smooth as can be. I highly recommend this dealership!

I want to say that this is definitely the best dealership around. The staff is amazing. My husband was getting ready to deploy and wanted us to to have a safe efficient vehicle. They not only found us a great car but the best deal to. We are so grateful to the staff for meeting our needs and the respect they gave us. I suggest if you are in need of a vehicle..please call Todd Mullen or Pete Munson...also say hi to Lynette...this team is number 1 in my book!!

Took my car in to have timing belt changed. My check engine light was on. I just figured it was due to the belt. Well no one bothered to tell me what it actually was. Just told me my car was done. Few days later light came back on. So I had to call and ask what the issue was. Now I have to spend more money on top of scheduling a time I can take it in. Had they mentioned it at the time they had the car they could have fixed the issue.
