We have tried a few other Euro auto repair shops in Charlotte for our Volkswagen with poor results and when we had a major repair we looked for a different shop with hopes of a better experience. I was initially skeptical based on my past experiences but when we met Ted, one of the owners, he explained to me that they stand behind ALL of their repairs not only with a written warranty that exceeds the length of other shops in the area, but with a no questions asked mentality. While I have heard "stand behind our work" before, this statement was backed up by action at Dynamic Auto Tune. The replacement parts installed on our vehicle appeared to be defective after driving the vehicle and when we brought it up to the shop, they didnt ask any questions and told me they would investigate and fix the issue. I was nervous that we were going to have to fight with them to get it taken care of but Ted reminded me that I just need to put some faith and trust in them that they stand behind their work. He introduced me to a very nice, professional mechanic who explained what was going on and told me what they would do to fix the issue. They tried different parts and the issue went away immediately and we never had to argue or fight for results. They even asked me if we needed a ride anywhere, customer service truly is a priority with these guys. They gladly took care of the problem and were very courteous from start to finish. I was thrilled that the entire process was very easy and their personnel make you feel comfortable. This type of service can be rare at auto repair shops but this is one I trust and would recommend to anyone. They specialize in European cars and I hope one day they add another master trained technician for Japanese cars to take care of our other cars. Thank you to the entire Dynamic Auto Tune team for taking care of us and our car and for making it such a smooth process.

I bought 2011 BMW X5 V8 from an auction block and had it shipped direct to Dynamic Auto Tune after I spoke with Ted and Matt. Their shop had great reviews and my friends at dealerships in town(Charlotte NC) had recommended them. My car, unfortunately, was found to have a complete engine fail and needed a rebuilt or new engine. We found out that rebuilt engine would cost as much or close to a new engine, but worse, even a trusted rebuilt company took long(>8 weeks) to do the work. So I purchased a new engine block in the market, which was shipped directly(took 7 business days from California). It took the Ted/Matt crew about 3-4 days put everything together and finally had the car roaring up again:) I had windows tinted at the tinting shop next door...I have two little sons who need some sunscreen while in the car, lol When I discovered a ding on drivers side that was not there before, they took responsibility and had it taken care of by a professional auto body/paint company that deals with Porsche, Audi, BMs... Ted and Matt and their entire staff are very professional and passionate about their work, they have treated me and my car extremely well since I met them. My car has since clocked about 6K miles without any issues, I remain a satisfied customer and fan of Dynamic Auto Tune.

I recently moved out to North Carolina from California to attend college at Duke. I brought with me my car, a 2010 BMW 335i. Throughout the cars history I have done all the non warrantied repairs and upgrade myself and I am not quick to let someone else work on my car. After browsing the Internet I stumbled upon Dynamic Auto Tune and thought Id give them a try installing an aftermarket intercooler as I dont have the tools or space to do it myself due to living in a dorm. They did a tremendous job and I was very pleased with the work and it only got better. I returned about 3 weeks later to get performance brake parts installed as well as a fuel pump upgrade done. They did a tremendous job and I left the shop happy but as I began to leave my car started flashing a check engine light and had low power. I returned to their shop quickly and was able to catch them before they left as it was 9:30 and the shop was closed. They stayed open for me for another hour and a half and figured out the problem which had to do with the tuner I was running on my car. The owner even bought me food while I waited and there was no extra charge for the extra labor. I will continue to bring my car to this shop as long as I live in North Carolina.

From my call to schedule my appointment until I paid the bill, the crew at Dynamic was top notch. Scott fit me in to their busy schedule to have a look at my 06 330i. Ted got me checked in and the guys started to find out the issues that I had going on. They diagnosed the problem and got the parts I needed at the end of a busy Friday before the weekend. Im purring like a kitten again and have no worries. Ethan took the time to take me into the garage and explain what was going on. Im new to the area and its nice to find a garage that I know will take care of me. I look forward to doing more business with them in the near future. I also had my 2 year old son with me and they showed him a good time. He enjoyed looking at all the cars and walking around the shop. Its the little things like that that will keep me going back. Anything from oil changes, to rebuilds... I have seen these guys do it all. Unfortunately I have ran into many misfortunes with my 02 Audi A4 in the year I have owned it. I started coming to Dynamic Auto Tune about a year ago after getting sick of shops holding on to my cars for days on end and falsely diagnosing my cars issues. I have been to many other shops in Charlotte where you leave your name in hopes for a call back.... The guys at Dynamic will go out of their way to insure you feel like a valued customer. In the year I have known these guys, I have grown to appreciate each one of them, and their work. The guys at the shop are always readily available to get me in and out of the shop ASAP. When it comes to Euro cars "You get what you pay for", and personally I wouldnt allow any other teams expertise to work on my car....

Ted, Scott, and Chris took great care of me. No body wants to feel like they got takin advantage off, and thats the feeling i got from my dealership, but not here. I cut my repair cost by more than half of what it was going to take at my dealership. Bringing in the new parts my self that I bought at Autozone certainly helped with the cost too. Will this come back to haunt me down the road? maybe so. But i dont think it will. Scott walked me back into the mechanic shop and let me see with my own eyes what was going on, which i have never been given the opportunity at my dealership. Not to mention the waiting room has extremely comfy couches. Every Situation is different, but this is a knowledgable, and friendly group of guys here, give them a shot.
