Have you ever had one of those evenings were you didnt want to cook but wanted a home cooked meal? Then welcome to Catering by George! This small restaurant is one of Durhams best kept secret and its time to let the word out. This is a family owned restaurant which is why its a such a gem. Catering buy George is nestled close to NCCU. The menu boast of comfort foods. Baked Chicken(THE BEST in DURHAM) tender pork ribs, sweet smokey pulled BBQ, baked macaroni and cheese, okra and collard greens. I also have to point out, his potato salad is like what your Momma would make on a Sunday after church. I could go on and on about how delicious everything is, but why not go and see for yourself. Yes, the restaurant is small but the best thing about this place is the man who owns it. The food is out of this world and the price is just right. When you are there you will feel a community thats of a Durhams by gone years. You will get good food at Catering by George but you will also get the soul of what make Durham a great place to live. You will not regret your trip! Enjoy!

All I Can Say Is Wow Best Costumer Service In The WORLD From The Greetings You Get When You Walk In The Door To Georges Cute Little Grandson Working The Cash Register And The Thrill Of Eating Some Of Georges Mothers Chocolate Cake Is Awsome Personally I Love The Mac&Chesse And Collard Greens And Ribe But Thats Just Me Go And Try Them Out.
