Catering By Design catered my wedding October 6, 2012. I booked them fairly early in the process of planning, and I knew right off the bat that I had chosen the right caterer. I was in contact with the owner, Greg Lewis, from the start. Any questions that I had, he answered promptly. He was one of the few vendors that I had, that responded quickly, and always answered every little question I had. As the day approached, I was put in contact with another employee, Jen. She was also amazing. I can honestly say that I love Catering By Design. I had NO PROBLEMS with them at all. We had to make changes to our menu, and I trusted them so much, that I didnt even feel the need to try the different food they put on my menu. THE FOOD! The food was BY FAR the BEST food! Every single person as my wedding loved EVERYTHING! My fiancee and I went to Hawaii on our honeymoon, and had pork at a luau. That pork had NOTHING on Catering By Design. We are already talking about going to their restaurant so that we can have more of their food. Be prepared though. They are pricey. But WELL WORTH IT! I cant say anything bad about them. I want some of their food right now.. :)

Outstanding!!! I cant say enough great things about Catering by Design. I was looking for a caterer for a Branch Leaders Meeting that we were having in our corporate office here in Raleigh. I booked them for lunch on a Tuesday and Wednesday and I was also having them all out to dinner at my home on Tuesday night. I was so pleased with the first meal we received for lunch on Tuesday. We ordered barbecue and barbecue chicken and fixings with banana pudding for dessert. Everyone loved the entire meal! For the dinner at my house, we had roast beef, rotisserie chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and vegetables and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Again, it was a huge hit with everyone, in fact they were all asking what we were going to be having for lunch on Wednesday as they were going out our front door! I had ordered the Fajita Bar with cheesecake for the lunch on Wednesday. We have these meetings 3 or 4 times a year and they have ALL asked/insisted that we have Catering by Design provide all our future meals. Their prices are so very reasonable and the food is so delicious!!! We will be a regular customer!

We hired Catering by Design to cater our business Christmas party this year. I had never worked with a catering company before so this was a new experience for me. We had a party of about 20 being hosted by one of the employees. From day one, working with this company was so easy, friendly, and efficient. The server was absolutely wonderful and pleasant. The set up was gorgeous. And the food was phenomenal. I have had so many compliments from my employees on how delicious the food was and what a wonderful time they have. If next year goes as well as this year, we plan a repeat event with Catering by Design. If you have an upcoming event you need catered, I highly recommend Catering by Design. You wont be disappointed.

“Having Greg cater all my events over the past 10 years has allowed me to focus my attention on running the event - not worrying about the food end. I call Greg, tell him what type of event I am having and let him run with the menu. He has provided catering for me for a meeting as small as 10 attendees to our annual fair with over 700. The amazing thing about Greg, other than being one of the most honest and caring people I have ever met, is that he treats my contract for 10 the same as he does my contract for 700. He is proud of his work and it shows in everything he does. He also has a phenominal staff that gives 110%. His food has always been outstanding and never once disapointing. I highly reccommend him and his staff!

Greg catered my wedding in May of 2011 and knocked it out of the park! He and his staff made sure that everything was set up perfectly. The nacho bar was a big hit, as well as the other food he had prepared for out "Margaritaville" wedding. Not only was the food good, but Greg and his staff went the extra mile to coordinate with our other vendors to ensure the night was as flawless as possible. I have catered in some form or fashion for the past 10 years and can say without a doubt that his willingness to facilitate the night with the other vendors makes Greg and his staff a a cut above the rest. Thank you!

Being in the event specialist industry, I attend a lot of events. More events than you can imagine. One of the good thinkgs about this however is that I get to experience a lot of different foods and offerings from local caterers. I can honestly say that Catering by Design and Greg Lewis is the standard for caterers in the area. Not only is their customer service before and during the event outstanding, but there food -- both quality and variety of offerings -- is awesome. I would strongly recommend Greg and Catering by Design to anyone looking for a caterer in the Raleigh-Durham area.

My daughters wedding was catered last weekend. Gregs staff worked with the florist and bakery to be sure that everything came together. When there was rain and wind, Cheri, who was in charge, gathered the family photos which were outside, carefully wrapped them up and let me know that shed done it before I even thought about it. Throughout the evening the staff was polite and attentive. The buffet looked wonderful and the food was fresh, hot and tasted very good as well as being a good value. I would recommend Catering by Design and Greg Lewis without reservation.

We had a wonderful experience with Catering by Design for our daughters wedding. During the planning stages, Mindy was insightful, courteous, and pleasant to work with. I appreciated how willing they were to work within our budget. The day of the event the team was fabulous--professional, graciously serving all the guests and especially attentive to the couple and their families. They went above and beyond in their service and were willing to pitch in wherever needed. And the food was delicious! I would highly recommend Catering by Design for your special event.

We did not end up choosing Catering by Design for our wedding, but were very impressed with Gregs (the owner) knowledge, helpfulness, and willingness to work with what we wanted, as well as providing very competitive prices. The catering proposal was prepared within the same day of our meeting with him, and we are 100% confident that he would have done an outstanding job at catering our wedding. Even though we did not use his services, we would very strongly recommend Catering by Design.

Catering by Designs food and service are always fantastic but I am most impressed with Gregs generosity. From donating food to one family in need or to hundreds of homeless people in Moore Square, Greg is always willing to help without hesitation and expecting nothing in return. Personally, I will always use Catering by Design, not only because their product is of the highest quality but because they are deeply committed and regularly involved in making the Triangle a better place.
