Harvest Moon is the pinnacle of catering services in the Charlottesville area! Their high level of detail planning and quality of food is unmatched by any other company. Sally was our catering manager and was absolutely fantastic! Sally was with us every step of the way in the planning process. She was extremely responsive, professional, and helpful. We felt so comfortable with Sally and the rest of the Harvest Moon staff. We even got to meet the Executive Chef during our pre-wedding tasting. Since Catering is the main vendor on wedding day, we wanted to make sure we picked the best company in the area. Harvest Moon and Sally executed beautifully the day of! Everything went so smoothly. The food presentation on the plate was gorgeous and tasted delicious. Our guests commented how good the food was. Highly recommend using Harvest Moon for weddings or other events. You will not be disappointed! Due to Harvest Moons great reputation, be sure to book as far in advanced as possible. Thank you to Sally and the rest of the Harvest Moon staff for giving us an unforgettable experience!

The initial experience looked like it could have been good; however, the caterers messed up so terribly that they nearly sent the bride to the hospital!!!! The food was good, but they made intolerable mistakes and have yet to do anything to right their mistake. The caterer initially denied that the bride had even requested a gluten free buffet. This experience was completely and utterly and unacceptable. Do not trust these caterers with any special needs cases. If the caterer could do anything to rectify any of their mistake I would at least be able to give them a decent review. I had hoped that Harvest Moon would have attempted to do something to rectify their mistake.

Harvest Moon recently catered our 40th Anniversary party at Alumni Hall. We had over 150 guests. Melany handled all of the planning, menu, linen, and flower arrangements, including the set up. She did a masterful job in all areas. Harvest Moon delivered perfection on every aspect of our party. The food was spectacular, better than many top restaurants that i have patronized. Everyone from Chef to server was extremely professional, courteous, and discreet. They paid attention to details, anticipated and accommodated our needs, and made the experience a real delight. I would heartily recommend them and will use them again.
