The facility is okay. Ill be renting in a climate controlled facility next time. For women, the way the units are set up doesnt feel very safe because theres only one way in and out. The workers are relatively nice. They have a van that you can use for transport which is convenient but you can only use it once and it has to be within the first two weeks of rental. I didnt realize that so asked to use the van once and was told they would charge me for it (same price as a Uhaul). It would seem to me that the policy should be, every tenant gets the opportunity to use the van once during your tenancy - whether its he first 2 weeks or not. Or even if its their policy, the idea of making an exception for someone that didnt use it at all doesnt seem like it should be a big deal if the goal is to build a positive reputation for customer service.

I was in the hospital and due to my illness I got behind on my payments several months. Uncle Bobs Self Storage could have auctioned my unit off, but they didnt! My entire life was in that unit! They worked with me to save my unit and my belongings. Uncle Bobs is not like other storage unit facilities. They care about their customers! I would recommend them to anyone. The prices are great and the associates are wonderful. These people really do care about you! I have my stuff because they understand! GO TO UNCLE BOBS TODAY!!!

Have been with them for almost 6 years....only thing is.you cant use the trash can on the property...I have cleaned out my storage a few times since I started renting and have had haul the trash to the grocery store dumpster near by (annoying because there is a trashcan beside the gate that says employees only..smh) also...If you pay on the 2nd....that is considered late...so you have to pay a $20 late fee . But I guess the plus side to that is...If you pay on the 31st....its still only a $20 late fee.

Becky and staff have always been AWESOME! They go out of their way to help you and make sure your transition goes smoothly into your storage unit. The building is clean and safe. I had a very positive experience yesterday at uncle bobs self storage. I was helped by the assistant manager, she made it a pain free process to moving my stuff into storage. Very pleased with the customer service, and pricing. I would strongly recommend uncle bobs storage to anyone who needs a place to store their things!

I had a horrible weekends due to my new apartment and they made my day. They helped me and made sure that everything was in order before I walked out the door. Mrs.Becky is a lifesaver even thought it was Sunday, and I showed up after and 1 1/2 hour drive and it was 3:45 pm. I will always recommend this place.

Very helpful manager and resources available for use. Ive had some really bad experiences at another area storage unit (Randleman Road), and Im happy to report that this site is completely different! The big Uncle Bobs van was a godsend, as were the elevator and flat bed carts. Totally professional!
