If you have gotten this far into contracting this company to do any work for you stop here and get someone else to do your work to save yourself the headaches that are coming if you use this company. You are first greeted by a contractor that will come to your house driving a $40,000 Pick-up Truck giving you the illusion that experienced highly skilled workers will come out to do the job. This contractor sent out workers to do the work that did not look the part. I tried to talk to one of the workers and he could not speak English. Luckily the lead roofer could speak very good English and I could convey what I needed done with the roof vent. After the workers finished and I had time to inspect the work I was disgusted that this contractor did not have complaints online to warn me of what I had just faced! These same workers had to come out to repair the vent cap that was installed at a cocked angle that was way off center from the hole that was cut in the roof that the hot air was to move out of. They had to come out again to repair another damaged area to the tar seam that connects the tin roofing to the building that I park my cars under. It was badly damaged because a worker decided to walk on that tin instead of staying on the roof when installing the shingles and staying on that side until they could turn around to start the runs up after they had enough shingles laid to have a spot to walk and maneuver on. I have just gone up to look at that cracked seam and the repair was photographed because all of the cracks were not repaired so I am going to have to sit under the tin to see if it is dipping again. The roofers did not pre-cut the shingles before laying them instead opted to do the lay the entire roof before cutting the shingles and this in turn gave a sever zig-zag line instead of a straight edge at the edge that hangs over the edge of the house. I am not a roofer and I know more about shingling a house than this team! This is the part that have me disgusted the most: The workers that laid this expensive Architectural 2-Ply Shingle manage to damage the area that they laid the latter on and apparently damaged even further because they hit the edge in that area when throwing the shingles onto the roof. When I called the contractor after the 2 times that they came to repair their screw-ups, he came out and looked at the area and he told me that shingles will bend over and will not stand proud. I was basically told that I had a 3 year warranty on the work and they did not see anything that needed to be repaired and if I had any problems out of the roof that I should call. Well the call was made and all I got was lip service! This is not true! Firstly, this is a double ply Architectural Shingle not a 3 tab single ply that you commonly see on smaller houses. Secondly, I personally roofed my out building with a three tab shingle and after 12 years they are still standing straight out because I did not bash them, throw shingles on them and lay a ladder on them when climbing up and down! Thirdly, these workers must not have much prior experience at all to be able to blindly damage a 2-ply shingle! They would have had to re-roof the houses edge, no questions asked if it had been a 1-Ply 3 tab shingle. This contractor is concerned with nothing more that maximizing his profits. Steer Clear, do not be fooled by the expensive vehicle that the contractor is driving! Luckily I had this work done as project and did not bundle all of the parts of my house and garage that I want to get remodeled. I have been saving 10 years to do so and to this I did not have to deal with more shabby work. This last bit of advice that I give about not contracting a company to do more than one project at a time until you can see the quality of work that you just paid for and know that you want that contractor to do more work for you in the future without being locked into a complete remodel. You can also spot a shady contractor that needs to be paid before the job is started.

Due to the ice storm in early 2014 I ended up acquiring $15,000 in damages to my roof and house. Of course the insurance paid everything but the $1000 deductible. Unfortunately, the painters had scratched my new laminate floors. Because of this Tri-Co and I agreed to knock off $200. I still didnt have the $800 to pay in full. They worked out a payment plan where I been paying tgem $50/month. I was 7 months pregnant when the damage occurred and they tried to work as hard and fast as they could to help me out. I love this company and plan to use them again for my master bath remodel and any other work I need done. I would also recommend them to others needing construction work completed. Thank you for everything: Jeff, Vicky, Tracie, Rodney & Clint.

reply to above D Hege : Each time you or your son has called this office, we have come to meet with you. At no time did you or your son ask us to leave or refund your money. I have been in the building business for more than 38 years and I am sure when I inspected the roof of your shed, I found everything to be correct. You were happy with that the last time we met at your home. What happened ???? Where did this stuff in this post come from ????? Confused. Our company policy is to collect the homeowner deductible up front on all insurance claims as work begins.

Working with Jeff Souther and Tri-Co Contractors to build our new home was a very positive experience! Weve been in our home for nine months now and couldnt be more pleased with the craftsmanship and quality of work. Jeff was friendly and easy to work with and was always willing to listen to our questions and concerns. He resolved all issues in a professional and timely manner. We found Jeff to be a man of his word; always striving to make things right. He and his staff made the building process a smooth one and come highly recommended from us! Tony and Ginny

Great work. They worked with me to solve problems, they answered all of my technical questions, and they gave me several pointers in performing the work when my insurance company was paying them. However, when I asked the management for a quote on my roof, they blew me off and acted as if my business was not important to them. This is a shame considering the good experience I had when they were getting paid by insurance. I was considering using them in a house I will build in the future, but because they blew me off, I will not.
