The transmission on my 06 Nissan Xterra died on Easter Sunday in the Kill Devil Hills Food Lion. Since I live just outside of Richmond I had it towed to an impound lot until I could figure out what to do. I called a number of places on the OBX and couldnt find anyone who could work on it. I called a Nissan dealership and they quoted me 5-7 thousand! I called a transmission specialist in Richmond who quoted me 5-6 thousand. I called my mechanic and he quoted me 3.5-4.5,but said they didnt do too many of them. And I would have to have it towed. Thankfully, someone suggested DE Auto. Even though they are up in Moyock, they were on the way back to Richmond. I stopped in and mey Donnie. As soon as I told him the year make and model, he smiled and told me what happened to my car and that they do work on thise specific cars about every six weeks. He even went as far to explain the science behind the problem (basically the radiator leaked fluid into the transmission and that ruined everything). He gave me a quote to the penny, a hair over 4k and said it would take about a week once he had it in the shop. So I arranged to have it towed to him. Everything went just as promised. The work was done and the bill was as quoted, to the penny. And, after driving it for the past month, everything seems to be fine. Donnie is a transmission specialist and I dont think they do anything else. But if that is what you need, I highly recommend him.

these guys are extremely helpfull. they actually saved me money on a repair and were extremely professional about their work. the shop is clean and organized, and there cheaper than most shops of the same type. eztremely pleasnt experience

Got ripped off and not the best first experience visiting NC. My cars fender liner came loose while visiting NC, came in to get two plastic clips installed and got charged $15.

My Transmission was leaking & I thought it would be a Very Costly Fix ??? Well they Fixed My Problem on My Cadi for $40.00...I was Very Happy
