I bought this house knowing that it needed a lot of work, but at every turn the house surprised me with more than I anticipated. I knew that there were leaks from the roof around the chimney and they sky lights also had some leaks. I needed a company that was capable of all of the flashing work around the chimney as well as replacing the skylights, so I could avoid finger pointing if any issues arose. Your team arrived promptly and gave me a quote as I asked. After selecting you, I was scheduled professionally for the amount of time the job was estimated to take. Here is where Baker made the difference. I hired a mason to remove the lower course of stone on the chimney so the flashing could be applied. The upper remaining stone was buttressed by wooden braces underneath. These braces were removed and replaced as the flashing was applied by Baker personnel. Baker also was to place a stainless steel cover on top of the chimney to protect the stone work from future rain damage. While hammering to remove the mortar mound on top of the chimney for a flat surface, the remaining stones fell from the chimney like someone dropping their pants. This was a huge avalanche of heavy stones and I am soooo happy they did not injury anyone. However, the stones did damage my roof and deck as well as removing some copper rain gutter and poking some holes in the screen on the porch. When Baker told me they were going to make this right, I was overjoyed! This is the difference in working with a first class company. Baker fixed all the holes in the roof, laid new shingles and repaired the screens and worked with the Mason to repair to reapply the stones at no additional cost. I was so happy that I contracted for a deck, two more skylights, and total rain gutter replacement. All of this was done very professionally. I want to add that the Baker personnel were always friendly and helpful. They typical scenario, would have been a company claiming it was not their fault and leaving the homeowner to pick up the pieces and pay for damages. We had our roof replaced and the service from the moment we put in the online quote request all the way through the completion of the job was excellent! It was almost too easy! I searched on Google for a local roofer and found Baker Roofing, I was impressed with the fact that they have been around since 1915; I figured if they have been doing business this long they must know what they are doing. So I went onto their website and it was very easy to use. I put in a request for a quote and within 24 hours I had received a phone call and had scheduled an appointment for later that same day. The estimator that came to my home to speak to me and my wife was on time, courteous and very knowledgeable. I guess what we liked the most was that he did not make us feel pressured to make a decision right away, but gave us all the information we needed in order to decide what worked best for us. Once we decided on the best roof system we scheduled the job start date. When the workers came to do the job they looked professional, acted as such and I noticed something different, they all were wearing hard hats and safety ropes around their waist. I passed several other companies each morning working around our neighborhood and never once saw any others with any type of safety equipment. I must say that I never felt uncomfortable leaving my home because I knew I was in good hands. When I got home every night my home was always clean and free of any debris. We have small children and our neighbors do also and there never was an issue or question about safety! The price was competitive and they started and finished on schedule! When it came time to replace my roof I asked my family and friends for recommendations and almost everyone I spoke with said Baker. From the moment they came out to do the estimate they were courteous and professional. I explained upfront that budget was a concern to me and they had no problem with that. They provided options that were within my budget and didnt try to push me to upgrade or purchase anything beyond my means. I was thrilled when they were able to fit my job in two weeks earlier than originally scheduled. It was also originally scheduled to take two days and it only took one! The team that showed up was fantastic! I have a neighbor who is very sensitive about work being done on my house and they took extra care on that side of my house. The roof looks terrific, better than every other house on the block! Mike Fox was the Project Manager on my house and he was a joy to work with! He explained everything that they were doing and kept me updated throughout the day as I wasnt home during the work. In addition, he took the time to get to know me and my house, which helped make the entire process more enjoyable. Ultimately, Baker may cost a bit more than other roofing companies, but you get what you pay for and, because of the guarantee, I know that if anything goes wrong theyll fix it! Ill use them for any work I need on my roof as long as I live in the area.

Weeks Later-- Baker Roofing continues to exceed my expectations. They truly stand behind their work. On one occasion, they came back out to touch up work after a painter made a mess on some shingles. On occasions you need one sub-contract to work with another subcontractor. Baker came back out to complete the job by installing brick flashing after the brick mason left-requiring an additional trip. Marvin was my manager through the project & he made sure the work was done to the highest standards. He wont let you down!! Marvin & Rob did a fantastic job managing my roofing project. Marvin strives hard to achieve a perfect roofing project. He does what he says and wants the customer to be happy with the roofing job. He is extremely reliable and conscientious. Additionally, he goes beyond the call of duty, even to the point where he goes behind other subcontractors to take care of things they failed to do around the house. Rob was wonderful in getting my project started and in helping me pick out the shingle color. You may pay a little more with Baker Roofing, but you wont be sorry with the job. By having it done right in the first place, you eliminate all the fixes and frustrations you would have to deal with with other companies. I highly recommend them!

Everything extremely well handled. I had heard they do a great job but were a little more expensive, but in comparison to several quotes from similarly sized roofing companies I found that their quote was actually very competitive and (most importantly) more complete in comparison with the other quotes I received. This is actually the second time I have used them for a roofing project in the last 2 years and the experience has been the same each time.The professionalism and thoroughness from their assistance on the selection process, to the documentation of the quote, explanation of the warranty, final walk through of the project was top notch. Mike Fox, the Project Manager kept me updated and kept in touch with me throughout the experience. The roofing crew was lead by Hernan (?) and they did a great job - two day project- efficient and when they were done, the clean-up was thorough. I had a standing seam metal roof installed on my front porch. They had to schedule that through a different crew because they had to curve the panels to fit my roof style. Very well done. I understand that work was handled by Ramon, but they completed that work in less than a day, so I came home form work one day the next week and noticed that it was complete.
