Tim White of CSP has recently completed fairly extensive interior painting for us. We continue to be highly satisfied with the quality of his work and his professionalism. His pleasant demeanor is an added plus. We have called exclusively on Tim for more than 15 years for all of our interior and exterior painting, wood repair, annual deck and house powerwashing as well as deck sealing. We have never been less than totally satisfied. It has also been helpful to have his experienced advice on the best products to use for a particular job. Tims work is defined by neatness and attention to detail in every step of the project. He is very particular about the prep work before any paint is applied and it stands out in the final product. This can include detailed caulking, nail hole filling, wall crack repair, mildew removal, etc. There is no question about neatness; I have never seen a spatter or brushstroke where it doesnt belong. Edges are razor sharp; there are no missed spots or brushstroke marks. Tims woodworking skills are equal to his painting. Over the years, he has replaced ~50% of the Masonite siding on our large home as well as window sills, and trim that has rotted. He has suggested better materials than were originally used. He has replaced decking and constructed replacement deck planters that are far better built and more elegant than the originals. On multiday projects, equipment and materials are always neatly stored out of the way in a manner that would withstand military inspection. In short, Tim is one of those professionals whose skills we truly value and we can recommend him and CSP without reservation. He provides excellent service at a fair price.

I sent Carolina Spectrum Painting a request on there website for a estimate. Gave my contact info. He replied later that day. This was his email he sent me. "I appreciate the interest for an estimate from my company, but due to an extremely busy work load I will not be scheduling any new projects at this time. Thanks, Tim" I was like what good business man would turn down work. You would think if business is booming you would hire seasonal labor or schedule the job out a few weeks. Then I was like oh yeah im in south east raleigh and every picture posted on there website of work done looks like you would find them in north raleigh. I came to the conclusion that he doesnt want my business because my house isnt big enough for him or he thinks im poor because im not in the rich part of raleigh. So I put it to the test! I went back to his website and made another request for an estimate. Different info and i put a new address to a very nice house. He replied the next day. "Im going to be tied up the rest of this week. Ill give you a call next week to set a time for an estimate. Mornings work best for me. Thanks, Tim" I made both request on the same day. I have the emails to prove it! I guess my house and money arent good enough for him! He lied to me and I wouldnt want him to do any work for me now anyways. Lie is a lie! Says allot about him and business ethics. Thanks for nothing Tim.

Upon purchasing our forever home in Raleigh, we knew that we would want to paint the interior of the home. You know to give it a fresh update and to truly make it our home. After researching just about every review site, I narrowed down our choices to 5. Yes, thats right, 5. I wanted to be sure that I had done my homework and was getting the best of the best. Carolina Spectrum Painting was the first company to come out to the house. They also were the most thorough. Mr. White asked questions and explained many things about paint and painting in general. When he left I had a better understanding of things and knew what to look for when the other companies came to do their estimates. None compared in thoroughness or professionalism. The work was done in the time said and our house looks beautiful. Tim White and his crew did an fantastic job and we could not be happier. I am all about finding local businesses that are that..local. That have been around for years and take pride in the job they do and the way they represent themselves. You will get that with Tim White and Carolina Spectrum. They earned our business and I will gladly recommend them to friends and family.

We just had the exterior of our home painted by Carolina Spectrum Painting. The finished product was exceptional. Tim White, the owner, was on the job every day painting with his crew. Tim is very professional, honest and up-front kind of guy. He answered all of our questions and concerns and his estimate was very detailed and reasonable. We knew from the start exactly what was going to be done and there were no surprises. The work was neat and of exceptional quality and to our surprise was completed ahead of schedule. Among many of the reasons we chose Carolina Spectrum Painting was the fact that Tim didnt want any money until the job was completed and to our complete satisfaction. This, to us, showed a man of his word and his complete confidence that his customers will be totally satisfied and we were extremely pleased with the results. We highly recommend Carolina Spectrum Painting for your painting needs. We would not hesitate to contract Tim again and we plan to in the near future for some interior painting. Thanks again Tim for an excellent job.

Tim White of Carolina Spectrum Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of our home. I contacted three paint companies and he was the first to come out to give us an estimate. Aside from giving us the best price, I felt comfortable with his experience and his plan for the job. The job was done in December, so they had some weather constraints which caused them to make a few extra trips, but they did not want to rush the job or paint in bad conditions. My in-laws were here one day when they were painting and my father-in-law thought it was too cold and that they shouldnt be painting. I assured him that we had discussed the cold conditions, but he took it upon himself to go have a chat with Tim. When he came back inside, he was satisfied that Tim did indeed know what he was talking about. A seal of approval from my father-in-law does not come easily! The finished job looks great. We used the same colors so there was no "wow" factor, but the house looks clean and like new.

The owner Timothy White is a very talented and professional business owner who takes pride in the work he and his crew does. Very reasonably priced, delivers quality work, and does the job clean and fast. Its a breath of fresh air meeting people who love what they do and want it done right. I had two other quotes for interior wall work I needed done and Timothy not only out bid them but was extremely transparent about what needed to be done and how it needed to be done. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty, traits that seem extremely hard to come by in many contractors these days. Carolina Spectrum Painting gets an A+ from me on all levels and not only would I recommend them to anyone, I will most definitely be bringing them back. Raleigh...keep these guys in business, quality and honesty is so hard to come by; they have restored my faith in good ole fashion craftsmanship.
