Piedmont Paint provided professional painting on the interior of our home for our great room, kitchen, foyer, stairwell + landings, and built-in bookcases. Our contractor grade paint job had used cheap paint and there were many drywall nail pops and other defects that needed repair in the high traffic, most used areas of our home. The estimation phase went well; every aspect of the job was discussed to establish the homeowners expectations. The resulting estimate was sufficiently detailed and the negotiated price was reasonable as I already suspected that the quality of work would be high, an important factor in our experience. There is no sense in getting a cut-rate price if a contractor is going to worry about making a profit and therefore tempted to cut corners. Piedmont Paint kept us informed as to job start and progress every step of the way. They provided their expertise on paint selection and made value added recommendations. Their paint crew was prompt, courteous, and thoughtful in addition to being expert in their craft. They took deliberate care in the many drywall repairs required and prepped all surfaces appropriately. At the end of every day, they cleaned up and moved their work materials to one side. During the final hours, the crew touched up the small number of areas that required added attention. They finished on-time and the job was completed just the way it was written up. It is refreshing to deal with true professionals who take pride in their work and their reputation. We hired Piedmont Paint & Finish after obtaining four estimates. Their price was competitive, and the project manager was very responsive to all questions and concerns, leading to our choice. The job involved a two-level home with a variable angled roof and a separate, two-and-a-half car garage. While the basic paint color for the siding was ordered in advance, at project start the project manager was on hand to assist with the selection of paint choices for detailing: doors, frames and window panes. The products recommended and used were superior. The work crew was outstanding. They began work on time each day, and worked steadily and carefully. They began by power washing and checking for loose boards or nails. They primed particularly worn areas. They drew our attention to cables and electrical boxes attached to the house, offering to paint them or not as we wished. At the end of each day they secured their materials tidily, and at the end of the project cleaned up everything. They were always courteous. The project manager contacted us during job performance, to make sure we were happy, and address any concerns. We are very happy with the results: the house and garage are beautiful! We hired Piedmont Paint & Finish to paint our entire 1900 square foot home before we moved in. This included walls, ceilings, trim, and our kitchen cabinets. William arrived on time to make the estimate and was very professional throughout the process, including maintaining timely and transparent communication. We chose them specifically over other bidders mainly due to their lacquering process for the cabinets. They spray lacquered the doors and drawer fronts in their shop and painted the cabinet boxes on site. William recommended a wonderful Benjamin Moore product for the cabinets and they matched the color we wanted. The cabinets look amazing and we could not be more pleased. Rigo was the foreman on our job, and he and his team were great to work with, most accommodating of my requests, and very pleasant. PP & F was great in accommodating the brand of paint I wanted. The walls, trim, and ceilings were in custom colors and look really beautiful. We would definitely use them again!

I have to admit that I was a little uneasy about the idea of changing the color of cabinets that had initially been lacquered, but Piedmont made a believer out of me in a major way. The crew that actually did the field work was not only very professional, but very skilled at their trade, and they went to extraordinary lengths to minimize the disruption that always goes with a total repaint of a room, particularly one as complicated as a kitchen. In addition, the cabinet fronts and doors that were sent to the shop for spraying came back looking like they were brand new. Throughout the whole experience, from the estimate with Charlie, and the actual work being done under Williams direction, the job went smoothly. The crew was wonderful, The painters moved and covered all the furniture and pictures. Made sure all objects in the way were secure and safe so that they could to do their job efficiently. After the work was done, they put everything back where it belonged making sure I was satisfied with everything before they left. They were neat and clean throughout the whole process. I would not hesitate to work with Charlie, William and hire Piedmont Paint and Finish again for any future work that needs to be done in my home or office.

They did a very professional job in the preparation of the house (replacing some rotten boards, washing down the old paint, etc.), in the application of two coats of paint, in cleaning up afterwards, and in coming back to fix some small issues we had overlooked in our “walk-around.” Mr. Morgan is a very pleasant man to work with and their painting crew were courteous, prompt, and competent. I was fortunate enough to receive services from Piedmont Paint and Finish via an auction item that benefited the Building Goodness Foundation. Charlie and William were extremely professional. Even though I was receiving their services “gratis” I never felt like I was not a paying customer. They went above and beyond by making sure cracks were caulked and holes were patched to ensure a smooth, professional finish. The two painters arrived on time and finished the job on time even after having to deal with an unexpected 2 hour power outage!
