Worst customer service ever. This company is so full of itself. I called, looking to get an estimate on a rather small project. I needed to have my sons bedroom painted. The woman on the phone would barely let me speak. She continuously interrupted me, saying that I would have to speak to an estimator when all I wanted was a ball-park figure of their hourly rate. Something numerous other companies were more than willing to give. I gave her my contact information and a description of the project and she said an estimator would be in contact with me. Well, a few days later, I finally get a call back. Only its not an estimator, but the same woman I had spoken too. Apparently, the estimator was "not interested in your little project", as she so eloquently put it. I guess my sons bedroom isnt good enough for River City Painters. In my opinion, River City Painters isnt good enough to work in my home.

River City Painters painted the outside of the 4-unit in which my friend owns a condo. The inside was freshly painted and ready for listing. The unit was unoccupied before, during and after, the exterior painting. Several weeks later, I inspected the work. The painters cracked clay roofing tiles, a glass pane in the window sash and ruined the aluminum screen, forcing the sealed window open to paint. Joshua did not ever return my calls. He later told his contact at the building that it was the "tenants problem", and he was not even going to look at it. I am a designer in Richmond and will never recommend this company again. Neither will the top realtor who is listing this property.

I had a great experience with River City Painters. Joshua was incredibly responsive and professional, and the work was completed promptly and looks fantastic. I couldnt be more pleased. This is the third painting company I have used to complete work on my house, and I have finally found someone I would be willing to use again. I would definitely recommend River City Painters; you will not be disappointed.

What a great company! The owner, Joshua, is who came to my house for the estimate and is a very hands-on operator which shows in the quality of work they do. The guys doing the work were punctual, detailed and polite! If you need a painting company, River City Painters is who you should call! These are my go-to painters and Richmond- theyve painted the majority of the interior of the house over the last several years as well as some of the exterior. I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and appreciate their desire to be the very best. Wouldnt hesitate them to recommend (in fact, I do all the time!).

Joshua and crew were great to work with! The crew did a fantastic job even with the extreme heat. Our 80+ year old house looks practically brand new thanks to such a great job by River City Painters! I definitely recommend working with them!
