LOQC is the premier dance school in the Raleigh area! The training is top-notch, and the family atmosphere and camaraderie between students is very beneficial. LOQC is led by some of the top teachers of Irish dance in the country. Over a dozen certified teachers makes this school ahead of the game in the world of Irish dance, especially in North Carolina. A host of teachers is extremely beneficial in the training of students. Many great minds coming together! A few of our teachers have toured with Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, and nearly all of them have trained dancers who have placed very high at Worlds, Nationals, and other International competitions. So, whether you want to just dance for fun, "show" dancing, or if you want to enter the competitive world of Irish dance, which is also great fun, this school is the best around. We cannot imagine doing Irish dance apart from LOQC!

Our daughter began dancing with Lisa in high school & couldnt be happier to be a part of such a wonderful team of teachers. When she transferred Rince na hEireann had not yet merged to become LOQC, during her four years of training she became an Open Champion & continues to dance while in college. She would not have been able to meet her goals without the training of all of her RNE teachers. Now onto a wonderful merger with even more extremely talented teachers, we couldnt be more pleased. The dedication Lisa has to each and every student is unlike anything I have experienced in Raleigh. She is not only a teacher, coach, role model, jokester ;) but a wonderful person and we look forward to many years here. You will love it here!!!

My daughter had a bad experience with a previous Irish dance school and almost quit dancing. After meeting Ms. Lisa Clark and trying out her class, my daughter fell in love with Irish dance again. She has greatly improved her skills and loves going to class. Ms. Lisa has figured out how to make her kids want to get better for themselves, not just to please her. I am very grateful to Ms. Lisa for all the hard work and sacrifice she has given to see all her kids succeed. (Update: My daughter went from Novice to Prelim in 12 months and she loves dancing for LOQC.)

Almost a year ago my nine-year-old daughter signed up for a homeschool Irish dance class while we were studying Irish culture. She had never danced before. We figured that once the 10-week class was up, we would move on to something else... that is not what happened! The dedication, passion, and enthusiasm of her teacher, Lisa Clark, made the class so enjoyable that a year later we are preparing for her first competition -- and we couldnt be happier with the decision to continue with this school, teacher, and style of dance!

We have been attending LOQC for a few years now. First for our 2 daughters to continue in their Irish Dancing, as well as braving the stage and being involved as an adult dancer. The friendships and fun we have had is only outpaced by the excellent teaching and support our girls - and all students - receive from the dedicated staff and teachers. We are very glad that this is where we chose to make our Irish Dance home!

Our daughter transferred to LOQC about 1.5 years ago. Lisa Clark and the other LOQC teachers know how to push and challenge their dancers to set and reach goals all while maintaining a fun and encouraging atmosphere! If you are looking for a great place to dance in Raleigh - look no further! Give Lisa Clark and LOQC a call!
