This is without a doubt, the best Barber shop Ive ever visited. South Hills has a down home feel with friendly customers and talented Barbers. If youre new to the area, this shop, or even new to a traditional barber experience, visit them on any Saturday morning. Youll meet new friends, find the best place to grab lunch, and the shortcuts for getting there. The combination of consistently expert haircuts and friendliness has kept me a regular customer...even when I lived over an hour away!

Visited South Hills Barber Shop yesterday for the first time in 40 years. I grew up in the neighborhood and used to get my haircut there as a kid. I have recently moved back home and decided to go back and see how it went. Lee gave me a great haircut and I will be returning there from now on. Be prepared - business is GOOD. Lots of folks know this is the place for a great haircut at a super reasonable price. Thanks Lee !!

Stop looking for barbershops! I have been to at least four barbershops since moving here and every single one was horrible. These guys are awesome! I watch them cut at least eight mens haircuts and beard trims before they got to me and every single one of them was perfect! Im telling every guy I meet to come here because its so hard to find a place that really pays attention to detail and actually does an excellent job.

I have known Lyle, Nick, and Lee for a very long time. I have been going here for seven plus years! I always make sure to leave a tip. Military and law enforcement friendly. Let me tell you! If you want a great High&tight then its the place to go. Even after I moved over and hour away I still drive all the way for the great people and the great hair cut! Lyle you my friend are the man!!

moved to Raleigh a couple months ago. saw this place a few weeks ago when I was getting my NC license plate. Went in today with a mop full of hair on my head and Lyle sent me home looking better than I have in a long time. Relaxed atmosphere, treat you like a friend, reasonably priced, and located right next to a great donut shop. Finally looking forward to my next cut.

This little hidden gem in Cary is something the flashy hair spas have seemed to forgotten. Good ol fashioned service with a smile, reasonable price for what you get. The the towel and shave included with the price makes the whole experience worth it. As a matter of fact even when I moved away I still traveled 60 miles for their service. Rock solid guys!

My new favorite barber shop in the Raleigh area! Traditional style shop with three cool dudes that are friendly and will be sure to give you a good experience. Cash or Check -- keeping it old school! They do an exceptional job on the tapers, fades, classic combover, military cuts, beard trims, beard lining, you name it!

The barbers at the South Hills Barber & Style shop are friendly, make you feel comfortable while you are there. They are really busy on Saturdays as they are open till 1 pm. Plan for a waiting time of 30 minutes, as they dont take appointments. The charges for haircut are $13, if that matters to you.

Ive been going to this shop since 1998. It changed ownership a number of years back. The new owners are great. They give me a great haircut everytime and are great guys to talk to. Its an old style barbershop with top notch service. And I love that they have an ATM machine. Very convenient for me.

The guys, Lee, Lyle and Nick, all do a great job. If you are looking for some good conversation while you get a cut, then they will oblige. If you are just looking to get in and out then they can do that too. Just a great place and its the only place I will go down here in the Raleigh/Cary area.

Old-fashioned barbershop. Three 30-something barbers. Almost always busy, so expect to be third or fourth in line. All three do good work. Pleasant atmosphere. Nothing fancy. Like stepping back half a century, but in a good way. If you want glitz, this is not your place.

These guys do a great job, just got my second cut here about a week ago and couldnt have been happier. This is an old school barber shop where you can expect conversation and familiar faces. Cannot recommend these Lee, Lyle, and Nick highly enough.

Do not go anywhere else! From the quality of work to the professionalism of the employees they are hands down the best choice if you want to go to a TRUE barber. There is a reason that this place has been around for so long.
